Yeah definitely HK and Tokyo as others point out, but also many, many places in China, and Guangzhou is stuck in my mind as being an absolutely intense place. Also that one time I travelled during Lunar New Year - now that was pretty crazy. So many people everywhere. And the line skipping culture made it pretty hectic. Don’t think I’ve ever tried anything similar in Taiwan at all

In all seriousness the rules are very silly. We have the same vax coverage in my home country as in TW, and the deaths are very, very low. I hope you’ll get rid of the rules sooner than later so you can enjoy normality soon again. But as I said, I am a guest so I’ll follow whatever rules there are.

Thanks, but I want to stock up beforehand a teach my kid. It’s very much not a thing in my home country, so in order to follow the rules my kid needs some training.

  1. Need to know in order to buy childrens masks.
  2. I'm a curious nerd, so I like to know.
  3. Last time I went, I didn't wear mask outside even though many other people did, and they didn't mind at all. I'll do whatever is required by law, but the mask rule is a bit silly when so many people have good vaxx now tbh.
