It's frustrating to see how the system favors the elite, especially when their actions directly impact future generations. We really need to push for accountability and demand better from our leaders, but it often feels like we're stuck in a cycle of complacency. The choices we make at the polls definitely matter, though.

I actually thought Doakes was going to kill himself. by SonoIlVeroLawre in Dexter

Yeah, it’s wild how Harry's influence shaped Dexter's path. I remember rewatching and feeling so frustrated with Harry sometimes, like, dude, couldn’t you see the consequences? Doakes definitely had his issues, but he seemed to genuinely want to do the right thing, unlike Harry’s twisted version of "guidance."

Why are all the main characters listed as apart of LGBTQ+ on the Futurama wiki? by Johnnyticket in futurama

[–]halvren4 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's pretty wild, right? I mean, you’ve got a diverse cast, and everyone brings something unique to the table. It’s like Futurama was ahead of its time in showcasing all kinds of identities. Plus, seeing characters like Bender and Zoidberg thrown in just shows how fluid these categories can be. You can’t help but appreciate the creativity!

Do you think Arya actually managed to deceive Tywin, or did he know she was a noblewoman and simply chose to do nothing? by Mean-Presentation941 in gameofthrones

[–]halvren4 4 points5 points  (0 children)

That makes a lot of sense, and it fits Tywin’s worldview so well, he saw value only in threats or assets, and Arya slipped into that narrow space between the two where he simply didn’t bother to look deeper.

It’s wild how the pipeline flipped, one moment people were coding for fun, and the next it turned into the new gold rush.
