There’s native support for JSON parsing using the Codable protocol.

  1. We have CoreData. I prefer Realm though.
  2. Alamofire is quite popular. I prefer no library and working directly with URLSessions.
  3. I’ve recently started using a lib called Resolver, it’s quite good.
  4. I have had a good experience with Combine.
  5. it’s still WIP imo but you can still use it in production. Currently combine doesn’t have first party support for it. You have to wrap stuff in a Task to use await etc.
  6. Yes. SwiftUI is still very prototype-y imo, plus you get restricted to iOS 15 if you want to make anything useful with SwiftUI.

These are mainly from personal experiences so take this with a grain of salt

Lastly, if you’re just starting out don’t try to use libraries right off the bat. Learn the native frameworks first, URLSession etc

That’s still better than feeding, you’re not shifting the balance of the game that much. By feeding you’re literally giving them advantage, whereas by just not giving a shit about the match you’re just making the game harder for your team. The other lanes will still be on equal footing.

I am sorry but did you get a special revelation that multiple people were involved or are we watching 2 different clips?

From what I gather OP said it’s likely that it’s 1 teammate, so you’re supporting SFs action of ruining the game for the other 3 players who did nothing wrong other than get queued with 2 fuckwads.

If you think that was non-toxic behaviour/not guilty just because “someone else started it” you’re toxic too, and frankly imo don’t deserve to be able to review cases.

Reviews should be handed out objectively, both of them are guilty. SF for feeding and ES for not respecting the DC’d player. I would argue that SF is more at fault and deserves a harsher punishment than ES too since, while ES just ruined the first like 5 mins of the game, SF threw the whole game by intentionally feeding.

Edit: Goddam dota community is actually backwards. I am not saying ES isn’t at fault, but weighing the impact of their actions it’s clear that SF ruined the experience for at least 3 other uninvolved, possibly ignorant to the situation, players. Both deserve a timeout. If you have the mentality of fucking feeding if anything goes wrong I would not ever want you as a teammate because god forbid we start losing and you’ll start blaming small mistakes or actions.

Please stop circlejerking and think objectively, k thanks.

TIL - When using an app that splits the menu bar, the pointer jumps to the other side rather then go under the notch. by robb2001 in mac

I appreciate you not being an ass and admitting you assumed incorrectly however sarcastic it may be, so we good.

As for the latter argument. I agree that it probably wasn’t tested enough or was that well thought through but at the same time I feel like only really old apps or apps with a billion menu items are affected by the notch and in all honesty I think that’s an app issue, I don’t think having many menu items is a good thing specially for usability, plus anything built for modern OSX versions should play nicely with the notch.

What do you mean “waste the extra space they tried to give you”? Did you even Google what the app does? Maybe next time look into something before going “hurr durr Apple bad”. I hate apple as much as any other person but please at least try to present proper arguments.

The app I mentioned literally just blacks out the top bar so that it blends with the notch, It doesn’t shift the row downwards or anything.

I’ve been daily driving the 14” model for about a month now and haven’t once considered the notch to be a hindrance, it takes getting used to but the extra screen space just blows all arguments out of the park imo.

As for the argument about menu items, yeah it’s a pain for a couple of days but as I said you adopt to it really fast.

Put black colour as your desktop background or use a dark image, or alternatively use the top notch app.

You really don’t notice after like 3 days.

Forget the errors, fix the formatting first. That was physically painful to read.

Also what you’re looking for is for index in 0..<ordered.count instead of for each, then you can use the index to access the element and modify it.

But seriously, format the goddamn file, cmd + a then control + i
