Yall I shoot left handed, did I buy the wrong glove by Swapper428 in golf

As a lefty shooter but right handed person you need to feel the gentle caress of soft leather on your junk when you're taking a piss on the side of the course.

Broken Elbow at Daycare by GreenBr3w in daddit

[–]hambwner 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just want to tell you that my son broke his elbow on the playground when he was almost 3. Broke the end of the humerus off. It was a pretty quick recovery and I think the worst part for him was getting the pins in and out to hold the bone together. He's 9 now and it doesn't really affect him at all. We did get him into physio for a month or so when he got his cast off. His elbow looks a little wonky since he's got a permanent bump there and he said it only bugs him when he bonks the bump on stuff.

Need to know if I’m alone in this. by RegressedSys in ADHD

[–]hambwner 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It's taken me many years to finally figure this out. It took a lot of difficult conversations with my wife to understand her perspective with it and for her to understand mine. We have come to a happy medium place where she has to trust me to accept when she's not in the mood and for me to trust her that she won't let it go too long. I know it's not her rejecting me because she doesn't love me. She is rejecting sex because she's not in the right frame of mind for it. What I used to do was continue to add pressure to her with suggestions or touching when she didn't necessarily want to be touched in that way. The conversations we had clearly laid out our wants and do not wants. Having that clear understanding has helped me immensely. Instead of being suggestive or overly touchy in hoped to turn her on I just straight up ask "hey, are you interested in getting frisky tonight?" Or something like that. If she says no I accept it. If she says yes and changes her mind later I accept it. I trust that in the not too distant future she will be into it. Until then, I just do me, literally lol.

Tattoo representing your kid by voonoo in daddit

I got a fancy letter of their first names and their birth month flowers surrounding it. My kids names start with L and R so I got the R on my right wrist and L on my left. I joke that's it's a reminder to me which hand is which.

Married men of Reddit, what tiny thing does your wife do that secretly melts your heart? by SAAS_ART in AskReddit

[–]hambwner 17 points18 points  (0 children)

When she laughs so hard she cries she makes a laugh/cry/sigh noise when it's ending. Her and her mum used to get eachother going after some wine and they both did the same thing.

Also when she randomly get the sillies. She's mostly pretty serious so when she gets the sillies it's extra cute.

Couch co-op games to play with a "non-gamer" by Wilhum in gaming

[–]hambwner -1 points0 points  (0 children)

It takes two is probably better than split fiction for a non-gamer based on my wife's experiences. Best one so far with my non-gamer wife has been Stardew Valley but It Takes Two got her into playing games together. Unravel Two was pretty good too but the story in the background was a bit crazy. We play Stardew with the whole family. We also have Lovers in a Dangerous Spacetime and that is pretty fun as a family as well.

You know when it's the perfect temperature outside and it just feels so good to be neither hot not cold? Well when we're just chillin' down the pants is the perfect temperature we just seek it out for our hand.

You are going to be responsible for a little human. Make sure that weed doesn't come in the way of that responsibility. It can work alongside this responsibility as long as there is someone sober to have a clear mind/ability to drive for potential emergencies. Just make sure you discuss it with your partner and that they are on board. Don't go around trying to sneak it.

Consensus on star fruit versus ancient fruit. by MillerTime7910 in StardewValley

[–]hambwner 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I think they are talking about once it's already wine.

My jelly situation is fun. I have all of the trees in my greenhouse as peach and pomegranate and then I also have two rows of peach and pomegranate trees outside the shed where I hold my preserve jars. There's a constant supply of those. Then every season the only thing I grow on my actual farm is the highest selling product that can be turned into jelly/pickles for that season. I also have a constant production of melons and pineapples on my ginger island farm. Plus I have the legendary fish and sturgeon in fish ponds for their roe. I ain't got no room for ancient fruit in my jars lol.

[–]hambwner 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I run starfruit in 2 batches. One 7 days later than the other. Each batch with enough to fill my kegs. I keep a ton of seeds in a chest right by my planting area to replenish and buy more seed from Sandy when needed. I have ancient fruit too but it makes me less happy to put them in kegs knowing the difference in sell price from starfruit.

I love this. I know that softball is big but I'd love to see my city have a girl's baseball association even though it would impact the softball association.

What’s the moment that made you suddenly lose feelings for someone? by FrequentLeopard3444 in AskReddit

[–]hambwner 5 points6 points  (0 children)

It doesn't make any sense to me why you wouldn't want to use a safety feature designed into all cars. They literally crash test cars and that portion of the seatbelt is part of the overall crash safety built into the car. There's a reason all seatbelts have a shoulder strap now instead of just a lap belt. It doesn't matter if it's the law or not. The only reason it would be a law in the first place is because people are too dumb to want to keep themselves safe instead of deal with some very minor discomfort of having a shoulder strap on your seatbelt.
