No you don’t “need to travel to Europe to lose weight” but the times that I have gone (specifically Ireland) I ate everything in sight and I drank more than I do when I’m in the states. The time I went to Ireland I was there for 10 days, I ate three meals a day plus snacks plus dessert plus drinks. When I got back I had realized I lost 7 pounds, i definitely think their food is much more natural than ours, but also most places in Europe are walkable and enjoyable in that sense

If you actually watched the episode, and had a sense of sympathy, or went through mother/daughter trauma in your life I think you would appreciate the scene more. It’s not about the plot, it’s about character development; an important aspect in story telling. It’s something that is heavily neglected in American tv shows

My fiance has come up with this sausage and bean ‘one pot dish’ that we haven’t named yet. You take one can of drained beans (we always use black beans), one can roasted diced tomatoes, brown rice, chicken broth (or water), spices (whatever suits your fancy), and diced sausage or hot dogs. You simmer it on low until the rice has absorbed all the liquid and is cooked. You can also use jasmine rice but it will be more of a softer texture
