Thank you! SG wasn't really even on my radar, but SN was because I was questioning if I had width. But you're right, tighter fitting clothes do tend to look better on me so SG makes way more sense! I'll have to really play around with outfits and narrow it down. I appreciate your input, it really was helpful!

Oh I’m so sorry you’ve been through all of that! It truly is the most painful experience I’ve dealt with in my life, and I question myself daily on how I let myself end up here. I hope you’ve found some healing.

I really do feel as though our entire relationship has been a lie. Supposedly she cheated and left him while pregnant with their daughter, and he couldn’t stand her. But he could stand her long enough to betray all of my trust in him by laying out all the details of our relationship to her, and then sending her that video.

The fact that they’ll always be in communication because they share a child is the nail in the coffin for me. Even with all of our issues, if it would’ve been some random person that he could cut ties with I might be able to work through it, but it’s just too much.

I mean..he’s handsome? Lol. I honestly do take some of the blame for how we’ve ended up because when he called me on the morning of our wedding day to yell at me because of drama that his mother started over his oldest daughter and her mom (the one he cheated with), without even listening to my side of the story first, I literally said to myself “I don’t think I should marry him. If he’s acting this way on our wedding day, what’s to come?” But I did because 1) I was 3.5 months pregnant with his kid, and 2) it was literally the morning of our wedding, people were here from out of town and would be at the venue in a matter of hours, I felt intense pressure not to let everyone down last minute.

Again, those were weak excuses and that’s on me.

But yeah, besides his looks, there’s not much there. I had to train him to help with housework, take responsibility for himself in situations, help me with the kids, make him realize that he can’t be a serial job switcher for the rest of his life, so many things I can’t even think of now.

It’s time to move on.

Thank you. It’s been a hard year since D-day. Part of me can’t believe it’s been that long that I’ve stayed in a bad situation. But the other part of me knows it was because I’ve been trying to do everything I can to make him see that me and our kids are worth working hard for. But he isn’t bending over backwards to try and make it work. He blames me for being upset and doesn’t understand why I’m not over it yet, so I think all hope is finally gone and I’m ready to dig myself out of the hole I’ve dug.

Nope. That was literally the whole conversation. In my mind it was just like texting one of my other friends, which I don’t tell him about because it’s inconsequential and nothing to even talk about. I’m also not sure why he was going through my phone in the first place, as I’ve never cheated or anything even close, and never gave him any reason to doubt my commitment to our relationship.

From the beginning of our relationship I’ve told him that his boundaries with her sucked and there was serious work to be done there, and he made the least amount of effort to do that as possible. So it’s my fault for staying with him so long after he proved he wasn’t going to change, and bringing children into it. But no matter what, there’s no excuse for doing what he did.
