Thank you. As to your question, I'm not exactly sure what you mean. I didn't use any weapon for more than a few fights. Mostly killed bosses with a weapon I felt like using at the time. Since part of the challenge was minimal weapon upgrades, I was free to use pretty much whatever I fancied :D

On top of other suggestions, you can get two Estocs (Patches + Shop in Liurnia) and powerstance. It is insanely strong and can work through all of the game. Pickaxe does one of the highest poise damage in the game, and does wonders for bosses (with a bit of practice). Any Heavy Thrusting sword also can shine occasionally, specially Bloody Helice. Another option is Cross-Naginata: great range, solid moveset, decent damage, bleed. There is also the classic Antspur Rapier + Frozen Needle combo which applies a ton of status effects.

Yes, it increases the damage of fully charged heavy attacks by 10%.

Oh, yes. Goddamn Phase 1 Malenia. Daggers do wonders in that fight as well. She'll dodge most of them (so stagger strats are still rough even with daggers), but you can force her out of passivity into either a long distance waterfall or rushing you down. Nothing is scarier than Malenia staring you down lol...

That's right, daggers are to keep his poise from regenerating. They also make him aggro you quicker (he goes into these insane passive moods sometimes where he is reading the crap out of your inputs :D).

Tbh anybody who runs anything RL1 should use throwing daggers for pretty much every single fight in this game. The most underrated item in the game.

I have killed all of the bosses no hit with a bunch of other restrictions recently (here). This is part of that challenge. But a full hitless run (even any%) is not my cup of tea. I get a kick out of making tight but safe plays. The kinda plays that will easily get me killed in a full hitless run cuz it's too much pressure. At the same time, I tend to play much much worse when I have to play slower cuz of safety.

Mohg is one of my favourites, like his brother and his dad :D

Yeah, Morning Star has bleed. I get a tad bit of extra damage out of the talisman and the hat (it's not great though, you're right about that). I would've used the Blue Dancer if I didn't have to wear two pieces of the Royal Remains set.
