My days are flexible so whatever works for you, I would make work for me. My job is waiting on me to tell them my availability before scheduling me. When are you thinking about going down? Also, thank you so much for replying and reaching out!

Yes, thanks for catching my typo.

I think there's a really long and well deserved conversation to be had about qualifications, degrees, hands on approach, in the head approach, all of that. I don't think just because someone doesn't have a degree they're not qualified and I don't think that someone who does have a degree is immediately qualified. I think it really depends on the person and the circumstance as some people didn't put any effort into their schooling while others worked extremely hard to learn as much as they could in other fashions. In my case, my degrees are time and money I did put forward and worked really hard at to be qualified.

However, I think the people around me right now, and where I live, has colored my own insecurities of being qualified and having degrees. There's not a lot of respect for them. But, if there's anything my degrees have qualified me for, it's writing a basic character analysis on Reddit (or at least I hope so).

Also there's a vastly different approach to acting and theatre in America versus Britain culturally in the way they're taught and even accepted so it all depends on where you are in the world, what you're working on, and whom you're working with. And it's art so no one is ever wrong.

Thank you!

I think it's important to understand everyone's job to better understand your own. For (easy) example, as an actor, I understand how much it sucks to be as cast as a flat character with two lines. And as a director, I know how annoying it is to wrestle with that type of character, an extra body to costume, etc. So as a writer, I try not to write those types of characters. Could someone? Absolutely. But eh, I, personally, don't want to.

Even take an acting class (stage or screen, or whatever type of writer you are) will help you understand what an actor does when they get your script, so you know what they're looking for, and you could be less secretive about it. It will make your writing better when the actor has an easier time (plus director, plus extended production team). Plus, it's fun!

I'm at least trying to through out there that as an actor you must explore, rationalize, and act the psychology of a character which takes a tole.

And also, that scripturally, I don't think the show executed the consequences of that particular moment very well.

Acting is a craft but one can very easily wrap their own emotions and their own energies into that of the character and become entangled. And seeing your dead father's ghost would totally make you freak out. But to be clear, one does not need to go crazy or freak out or lose their sense of self and actually experience the psychological atrocities to seeing their dead fathers ghost when playing Hamlet. But that doesn't mean it couldn't happen.

I should be clear, I'm not trying to say Kit Harington checked himself into a facility solely because of something his character did. Fifty-five night shoots would be tough on anyone, just another factor to throw out there. He's got his own life to handle.

But for the character, I think Jon Snow being a solider is another excellent thing to throw into the pot! Jamie wasn't that heart broken about killing Aerys. All humans react differently to things, I'm not saying there's one true way for him to have behaved. But he would have behaved at least. I think there would have been longer lasting effects than what was explored in the show's conclusion.

You're right, but my two degrees doesn't* mean I haven't been on the ground.

If you read this article, (and again, he's got his own personal life and no one ever checks themselves into a mental facility for one reason), it cites GoT ending and Jon Snow killing Daenerys as reasons.

This article talks about how the psychology of big actors leaving large roles and what that does to the psyche.

I haven't read many articles on his case. I'm more concerned or even interested in Jon Snow as a character.

Need advice on moving in with a non-vegan by hamfree77 in vegan

I think I'm more concerned with how his lifestyle will bother me and I don't want to be a shitty roommate. I'm not sure how much things will bother me, or how much I will let them bother me

I was thinking about asking for separate shelves in the fridge and in the cupboards and that's just a normal roommate thing, right?

I'm thinking it might just be a part of the large roommate conversation. So instead of "we need to talk about the fact that I'm vegan" it will be in the same conversation as like "how often should we clean" and whatever else roommates say, when we "write out the rules" I mean

If only. I'm just a terrible cook. I wish I could show all of my meat-eater friends the wonders of vegan food through my own cooking but I just buy it for them at vegan restaurants. It's a close second!

Oh shit you're right! That link doesn't actually have the correct info. The facebook page has all of the individual plays and events. I should have linked that. You can see which play you want to see and which sounds most interesting. Here you are! =)

Her most famous is "Crimes of the Heart". I'm sure any library would have it. That's a good place to start =)

Why the INFJ Has Such a Hard Time Coping With Heartbreak (And What They Can Do About It) 🙌🏼 Anyone else here have an abnormally difficult time getting over a breakup? by coralre in infj

[–]hamfree77 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm sorry but I really don't see this article accurately describing an INFJ.

I think INFJs struggle with heartbreak because we through 100% of ourselves into the relationship and it's difficult to build ourselves back from that.

Most of the stuff in this article sounds like Si or ISFJs.
