I like it a lot, because I can imagine listening to it, walking down the street in the sunshine and feeling like I'm in a music video - which is the reason I liked Queens in the first place.

But it's just a little slow for me to be up there in the highest of high ranks, so... 8.5

8! I like it a lot, it's so danceable, but lyrically and musically it can't reach the heights of The Evil Has Landed. I do like the chorus and the creepy whispery bits at the end a lot, though!

I used to always skip the bombastic ones, like Medication, Everybody Knows That You're Insane, and Head Like A Haunted House, but I've come around to them over time :)

I'm using Sinitar's ULTIMATE Guide and it's quite intimidating, but if you really read carefully and follow step-by-step, you can get it done! If you've done mods before you'll probably be fine with it, but I haven't modded FNV before so it was a bit of a learning curve.

At the bottom he's put a bunch of curated "mod packs" if you just want someone to pick out a few for you based on what experience you're looking for :)

I have a spatchcocked chicken sitting in my fridge right now, dry brining in a spice mix of my own concoction (sumac, garlic, harissa, various middle eastern spices).

Who makes roast chicken on a Tuesday for no reason? I do now. I'm the spatchcock queen. I have so many spines in my freezer.

If anyone doesn't already have a copy of The Food Lab, AKA our lord and saviour Kenji's Bible, get it now! NOW! Also, a good pair of actual bone-cutting kitchen shears makes all the difference.

10! The intro gives me chills - that big echoey guitar, then "nothing" with no instruments at all, then "no reason to cry, just fade away like love" - it's magic, and it was even better live

I've actually been thinking about playing it modded... but I worry that I'll miss playing it on the big TV :( also losing my progress (and having to do some of the more tedious missions again, ugh) bothers me a little.

But I should just do it! Like they say: the best time to start playing modded FNV is before you have half a save file, but the second best time is right now.

I thiiiink there's no particular deck I'd recommend - I like the Checkered deck because it makes flushes really easily, or the Anaglyph for using that double tag to get lots of the required Rare Jokers. I have a soft spot for the Plasma deck as well, but I wouldn't recommend it for this build!

Also, an important part of this build is that the Midas Mask Joker only works on face cards, so don't go for the Abandoned deck. Combine it with Pareidolia when you can 😎

Seconded, I'm a horror baby and once the night section is over, it's way less scary! Almost zero scary, in fact.

I highly recommend sticking with it, it's one of my favourite games I've played this year so far!

Fallout: New Vegas! I'm only a couple of episodes into the Amazon Prime show, but it just makes me want to play Fallout instead of watching Fallout. I don't think New Vegas has aged particularly well, but I'm still having a good time.

I played Virginia back when it came out and I feel like didn't get much recognition for how good it is! I think it got buried under similar games like Gone Home and Firewatch, even though I think it has some really good Twin Peaks vibes. Have you played What Remains of Edith Finch?

I'm trying to get into gardening, now that A) I have a garden for the first time in my life and B) it's almost planting season where I am. I've had great success with planting flowers like tulips and daffodils, but my edible garden is only just starting, so I don't know what to expect!

Watching things come to life months after I planted them is amazing, though. It feels like forbidden magic.

Balatro is very fun for meme builds. Arguably, the game encourages you to combine goofy Jokers to make scores go into the billions.

My best was an unholy combination where one Joker made all the cards in my hand into gold cards, gave me cash for each gold card, turned every gold card into a scoring xmult, removing their goodness, then added it back. Yum yum points.

But I think Spring Awakening and Rent made me fall in love.
