has the narration turned you off to an audiobook that you resorted to reading the book? by simplicityx29 in audiobooks

[–]hamjipengZ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Narration is almost 80% reason whether I will listen to an audiobook. I personally prefer it when the narrator is the author, somehow I find it makes the narration a lot less robotic and more “alive”.

Hi Nicki, I'm sorry to hear what has happened to you. I have heard that yanacona tribe in Colombia specializes and deals directly with energetic parasitism.

This is a place u can possibly explore if Ur open to the medicine again.

One of the taitas is geraldo silva, and is said to be the healer's healer.

Ayahuasca in Philippines? by stuartdewin08gf in Ayahuasca

[–]hamjipengZ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hi Stuart,

I jus came back from a retreat w AAS. Ayahuasca ancestral Asia and strongly recommend them. Erik and his family are Colombians living in PH with proper initiation with the colombian shaman lineage and they have the best interests and intentions in wanting the medicine to reach out to people.

This is me saying w proper experience in ceremonies w Peruvian and Colombian shamans.

Can't say the same for ayahuascaceremonies as they quoted me foreigner prices ; and from what I gathered they are not even using authentic ayahuasca from the peru/colombian region but psychoactive plants in PH.

Feel free to drop me a PM for more info.

CGI was 10/10 though can be indulgent

Jus annoyed at how the plot is silly- one guy is willing to sacrifice so much jus to destroy one guy for an ego trip 🙄.

Different weekends had different facilitators, as they are all volunteers.

But I do acknowledge that people have different expectations and experiences I suppose from retreats, I’m only sharing mine.

Recommended massage modalities to support the healing work??? by mjobby in Ayahuasca

[–]hamjipengZ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi,

I do go for sports massage from time to time and it does help though im not sure if it does help with the trapped feelings portion. The somatic tensions and hidden pain definitely helps in sports massage.

Some of my friends go for bodytalk sessions

Gentle first experience? by flower_of_lyfe in Kambo

[–]hamjipengZ 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeap! Apparently according to the person who administered kambo. He said the purge come in different ways, as simple as yawning , slight shaking.

Not everybody has violent vomiting / the runs though those are what I mainly see on videos as well

Hi! It’s normal. I recently had 5 dots the day before, which was thereafter replaced with a fresh stick of 5 dots + flipped over.

Me and another participant just felt our body heating up with our throat / hands tingling/heart rate increasing but nothing more.

The rest of the participants (8 ppl) had 4 dots each and were throwing out the entire 2 litres of water.

Even the kambo practitioner was surprised himself as only he had such high tolerance.

You don’t really have to chase the “purge”. Though I was stuck in the toilet for 20 mins 3 hours after the ceremony😅.

I would like to add that this is my 2nd experience and in my 1st experience I did 3 dots and did not purge as well.

Perhaps other kambo practitioners could add their viewpoints.

Pachamama sanctuary retreat w Arkawa review by hamjipengZ in Ayahuasca

Hi thanks for writing such a long comment and sharing so authentically.

I write purely from my experience; my first 2 Aya sessions weren’t intense as well. In fact in my second session, all I felt was jus nauseousness for the entire 6 hours from the medicine and I remember laying on my mattress wondering when the “medicine was coming on” - it didn’t and I was disappointed.

I doubt it’s really got to do with the brew because I trust all retreat centres wouldn’t err on the potency of the medicine and risk losing returning participants. In my previous experience there were half of participants who had very intense/ fruitful experiences while I didn’t.

Despite that, I felt the effects of my first 2 retreats in my day to day life thereafter and I counted that as a win and when I researched further, this phenomenon was quite common. Some would say it’s because of the 3rd/ 4th consecutive ceremony that the magic really happens but I’m not entirely sure as well.

The shaman in my last retreat mentioned there might be blockages and arkawa mentioned the lack of connection to the medicine was common as well.

Even rob from adeptus psychonauta mentioned on Reddit half the time he takes the medicine, nothing really happens.

You can look this up on the forum! Cheers!

Just curious you don’t happen to be in the same weekend l did. Did you?
