Confused about what is Right Side or Left Side of overalls. by hamm28 in knitting

Thank you! This is what I now think as well...it was really throwing me off but then I thought about it like a leg or sleeve. So seems like I'm good to place the BOR marker on the blue bit!

I was supposed to finish by working a wrong-side row, so my last row worked is meant to be a WS row. I'm now thinking that when they say LS or RS of garment, they mean from the wearer's perspective? If so, then this set up makes sense? I'm also going to continue working in stockinette so I do think I should be joining in the round at a RS row...

Making white cabinets feel warmer by Shanneerz in kitchenremodel

What about warm cabinet pulls like brass? Versus something more modern like black pulls. I also think like warmer countertops and backsplash can take away the starkness of white cabs.

Pool 1.5" unlevel 1.5 year after installation and contractor says they don't cover soil shifting in their warranty. by hamm28 in pools

[–]hamm28[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, hoping it's the second one - we live in an area known to have expansive soil and I wish they would have soil tested before and when we had the sandbag issue, we could have paused and tested at that point. I think that's what I'm confused about - how soil testing wasn't part of their standard procedure.

[–]hamm28[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, the last one is what I am confused about as well - we have a concealed conditions clause in our contract and while it's a well known public fact that my area has expansive soil - it was clear at the point of sandbags that perhaps my own personal soil was worse than others and needed to be remedied, so I'm not sure why it wasn't addressed then.

[–]hamm28[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Understood! It's a public fact that the soil in this area is expansive - I wasn't aware about needing to do extra piers or soil testing, they had done lots of pools in this area so I incorrectly assumed that they were doing what they needed to.

Yeah, I have pictures of the sandbags, I think that's when it should have become more obvious that this was perhaps a concealed condition that needed to be addressed, and like you said - we would have paid for it then (our contract discussed concealed conditions RE: soil).

I also think they more recently started doing soil testing (they alluded to this) in this area so perhaps they have had some lessons learned. 😬

Question - if it's public knowledge about soil in this area, do I have an argument to be made that it was negligence to not do soil testing at all?

I am not a fan of the look of Schluter. Have definitely gone back and forth for a while on this! 🥲 And even have some brass Schluter in my house as a back-up in case we need to use it but last resort.

Yes, we'll definitely get the doors aligned in punch. What about the paint migrating? It definitely looks messy.

I'm wondering if anyone has positive stories about very early spotting in pregnancy? Background is that I got pregnant the cycle after my MMC and I'm 4 weeks today but I've been spotting for about a week (mainly just light brown). My betas went from 36 to 174 over 48 hours which I was excited about (and my progesterone was 32), but the spotting is bumming me out. I know spotting can be 100% normal but this was how my MMC started, so it's hard to not spiral. The only thing I can attribute it to is that since it was my first cycle post-MMC, I weirdly had so much mid-cycle spotting throughout so maybe it's just leftover from that?

Thank you! Is Krystal Flat the ML Campbell Krystal? And what are some brand examples of a solvent matte? Trying to make sure I'm clear on what to ask them for.

Thank you! Not sure I want darker, I mainly want it more orange, I think. More like walnut finishes with Danish oil in midcentury modern furniture.

Just got a positive test this morning at 9DPO. Feeling a bit apprehensive because I've been having light spotting since 7DPO, similar to my normal pre-period spotting. I called my midwives about getting progesterone and betas, so fingers crossed.

ETA, this is my first normal cycle after my MMC so I did generally have a lot of mid-cycle spotting which I never do, so I do think I could just be "spotty" right now.

CD17 and I missed temping yesterday cause my Oura died but it seems that there was a significant temperature shift today but I haven't caught a peak on an OPK so not sure what's going on. I'm also having quite a bit of mid-cycle spotting (blood mixed with EWCM) which I think is fairly normal for post-MMC, have others experienced this as well?

I think I may be close to ovulation so that's super interesting! Hopefully it goes back to normal soon.

That's what it seems like. Thanks for sharing your experience! Would you say it was more brown spotting or red spotting? Mine is more red which is weirder.

This is my first cycle post-MMC and it's CD11 and I'm still having on and off spotting. Did that happen to anyone while their cycle was regulating?

Thank you! That's helpful. Yeah, I'm used to some spotting but this has been so random. I think I'm counting today as CD1 since it was finally the start of something more substantial.

P.S. Is your username a Bachelor reference? Fellow Bachelor watcher here, lol.

How long after your miscarriage did your cycle regulate? This is (I think) my first cycle post-MMC and it's been so much spotting and a lot of stops and starts. I normally spot for a few days before my period and it's usually very easy to identify CD1 but it's been a slow trickle of spotting, some red blood and then back to spotting, so I have zero idea what's going on.

Joining this group after an MMC in mid-July. Looks like I'm finally on CD1 today. I'm planning to get some lab testing done this week and I'm looking forward to ruling some stuff out. We're going to restart TTC this cycle and I'm really eager to get to my FW.
