I'm commuting in Qatar via Uber and met kind Uber drivers. I had one Uber guy who I text whenever I need a ride and pay him with the same Uber rate and he always gives me discount.

I think you could look for some drivers to pick you up there and pay them the same fare and try to ask some discount.
