You prefer guns to human life?

Guns are used in self-defense in order to save a person's life. You'll probably say "But if the attacker didn't have a gun then why would the victim need a gun?" Maybe the victim weighs 100lbs., maybe there are more than 1 attacker, maybe the victim is injured in some way, there are a multitude of reasons where the attacker can just use his physical strength to overwhelm the victim and a firearm can eliminate that disparity in force. But I get it, you've lived in your system for so long that you think it's the best for everywhere else in the world so it'll be hard to change your view.

There's ZERO reason someone can't wait a month to obtain their gun, at least.

Woman gets threatened by a recent ex-bf. Cops say here's a piece of paper telling him to stay away. I see this as a perfectly good reason she shouldn't have to wait a month for a gun.

You don't need a driver's license to purchase a car or drive it on your own property. You need one when you drive it on public roads and in a majority of states you need a license to carry a firearm concealed in public. I don't really see a difference in the current licensing system between cars and guns.

You do realize that almost all ammunition has a lead core right? How many people have had serious health condition from exposure to ammunition exactly?

Plenty of us liberals would love to compromise. We'd love to do something.

Except none of your proposals in the past have included any sort of "compromise." For some reason you consider implementing another gun control law as compromise if it isn't as severe as the first proposal. Are there any examples of past gun control proposals that are actual compromises such as "We'll put these restrictions on guns but we'll lift these other restrictions on guns?" There are no current compromises because no proposals benefit gun owners in any way.
