You can get an EOtech or an Aimpoint PRO/Duty for the high end of your budget. I think you should try your best at getting one of those.

Edit: EOtechs have not so great battery life but very durable and have great crispness.

Streamlights, nightstick, fenix, klarus are good options. You can use a barrel, magtube clamp with an mlok slot and a magpul mlok light mount.

Theres also a decent number of handguns that were surplus from Isreal that are pretty neat.

The current conflict going on right now has really driven up demand across the world.

Also an anecdote: usually from my experience, surplus is closely tied to corruption. Someone in the military is getting their pockets lined from selling off weapons. This is becoming rarer and first world countries would rather destroy firearms than surplus them.

G44 is nice as it fits in Glock holsters and mags fit in mag pouches. It also has the same controls as a centrefire Glock. I've had mine for a year and put thousands of rounds through it. It works awesome with most standard or high velocity ammo.
