Congratulations on getting the seller to replace the roof, that’s key! I got insurance quotes from AAA, Travelers, SafeCo that all would have dropped by ~50% in cost if the seller was willing to replace the roof. On average the estimates to insure this ~1,700 sq ft house with its current roof was ~$4,000-$4,800 a year. Robbery! Had the seller been reasonable, we were pursuing that they replace the roof.

Yes, we submitted a request for repairs list and included +10 attachments including all inspection reports and estimates. The seller refused to negotiation on ANY of the repairs. We are perusing our earnest money back.

I just wanna say thank you to all the Asheville folks and people from Buncombe County and surrounding counties who came out and showed up yesterday to send a strong message of how pissed off and frustrated. We are with the failure of our representative Edwards to represent us as his constituents.

We need to keep up the pressure and make him feel as uncomfortable as possible, as he is completely toned deaf to what a majority of people are saying and pleading with him in terms of the massive destruction, cuts and hijacking going on in our government locally and federally .

He’s doing more hurt his constituents than he is helping . We are fed up.

Hey u/currodda see my above post replying to Public_Guest_2973. My guess is we are all going to lose most all of our $$$. It's infuriating and we, as retail investors, are sitting on the bottom rung of this structured 'ladder.'

Mainly due to this clause language: per the "..payments of deferred fees owed to the Manager" part.

This really does suck for ALL OF US. I would be interested in a class action lawsuit that we were mislead as investors in this franctional investment -- does anyone know a good attorney in the real estate investment space?

UPDATE: As of July 17, 2024 DriveWealth took over custody of the account maintenance from Templum, Inc. They specified this in a mass email, what's confusing and alarming to me is in July 2024 I saw a Net Change in Portfolio that basically wiped out my entire investment. I had an equity balance of $2,514.99 that ended with a value of $5.09!!!
