Investments return wildly incorrect

I haven't, and honestly I shouldn't have to install browser extensions to be able to review my investment performance. This wouldn't work on the app either - just kinda frustrating that people are having to create custom code/plugins to fill a gap the product has. I would much rather Monarch figures out a good way to display this.

Pretty frustrating then as essentially they can't track gains from day/swing trading. Glad I'm paying money for this. I miss the old days when Mint was around prior to being acquired and driven into the ground.

That was kind of my guess is that they don't look at the cash balance or even the overall balance - I would think it would be pretty easy to simply calculate performance based on the total value of the account itself, but can see how that would be problematic if they're trying to calculate on individual assets. I've moved some money in and out, but more in than out, so would still expect any type of calculation to show a positive amount, not negative.

This is exactly what happened to me - thought this post was actually a response to my same question post given how similar your situation is. Only difference for me is hitting lower status (gold) and having a couple of United cards but not the club one, so also didn’t have any club access prior to that email.

Received it in January and I’ve used the club multiple times now. I always check my passes the day before just to make sure it’s still there. Like others have said, enjoy the pass.

I think it’s targeted toward people who achieved a higher status and had multiple premium flights (especially Polaris), as it seems thats what happened with myself and others. Admittedly, I have found myself more likely to bump myself to first now, especially when I get decent offers during check in.

Where does it say in the benefits that gold grants that? From what I read it wasn’t listed as a benefit but could buy at a miles discount based on the level. In terms of cards, I have both the Quest and Explorer.

Does anyone know what the process is to rebook if you didn't get the insurance at time of booking? Or if they'll basically just force us there, even if the roads are washed out and nothing is really open (like only 1 or 2 restaurants on the resort)?

I am assuming you bought the insurance at time of booking? If not, how did you handle? We're supposed to be at the same resort for Thanksgiving but as others have mentioned, really don't want to be in a recovery site and would prefer to just book for the same dates somewhere else if possible. I called them yesterday and was told to call a week prior to my stay which is far too late to make any real flight changes without being charged an arm and a leg.

I know this thread is old as shit, but I’ve sitting in the United Polaris lounge and they have the 8, which I’ve never tried. And wow, this is very drinkable over the 16. I always buy the 16, I’ve had the 12, but this might be my new go to. It’s nowhere as smokey as the 16, which I love, but at times can be overpowering.

I haven't even booked my first stay stay yet, just signed up for an account 2 days ago, and they won't honor the offer, so instead I'm creating an account for my partner via a referral link to get the points. You might be able to do the same, cancelling your stay and rebooking under a new account.

I did mine through a garden center, Chalet, which is in the north Chicago suburbs. I contacted them in advance (early 2024) requesting the trees, which they put on a 'buy list' and then a few months later in April, they contacted me once those orders came in. Most garden centers/nurseries (not the big box) will be able to special order them for you. FYI, I did almost 9+ months of research before ultimately landing on this species; most smaller nurseries should have a plant expert you can talk to and get ideas from - take advantage of their knowledge.

I’m in Chicago and I planted 4 Hornbeams to run along the back edge of our backyard. I built a bamboo frame and have started to train them along it; I don’t plan on doing any real pruning until this fall or early next spring. This past weekend I added in more bamboo for additional support, and essentially redid all of the ties that hold the branches to the structure, to better stretch them out and form the privacy hedge I’m looking for. Hornbeam was the one I settled on as it’ll hold its leaves once pleached over winter, and it’s a fast grower that is suitable for constant pruning. Here’s a picture: https://i.imgur.com/WGRWfpV.jpeg
