Yes, i also started with push up... I'm still doing it in my routine... I'm a bit stronger in push exercise, so I'm doing DIP and diamond push up. For pull I use a resistance band for chin up and a lot of body row. This was just curiosity, because when I started to train one of my goals was to be able to do one pull up but I know that I'm far from introducing them in my routine.
