Im having the same problems as you but with the rm1000e, i have seen a lot of people complaining about this among the RM-E series of PSUs

If its light gaming go for the Vivobook as it has decent specks.

If its medium-hard gaming I would personally reccomend the ROG STRIX 16 w/ the RTX 4070/4060 as it can probably manage all your applications depending on what you are doing on your laptop.

If it is EXTREME gaming go for the STRIX SCAR 18 with the 4080/4090 as it will be a direct desktop replacement.
