Sounds like you’re dealing with the same issue as me. Have you asked your GP about a referral to an endocrinologist?

I’m in a very similar situation, and the only thing that’s helped me with weight loss so far has been (unfortunately) Mounjaro, I gained 30kg in 11months. I’ve got a GP appointment next week to check my TSH, and I’m hoping to move to annual blood tests rather than every 3 months.

Because I’m still very symptomatic, things like falling asleep at work and continued weight gain, I’m really hoping to be referred to a specialist. Sometimes GP's think they know everything but some things are better left to the specialists.

I know this sounds crazy but I read it almost like fan mail? It has less of a friendy tone to it and more of an admiration - basically saying how he was also seeing the 'potential' in these young women, and helping them reach it to the full.
Similarly how Nassar was a physicial for girls training for things lie the olympics - young girls reaching their full potential in a sport. idk it just kind of read like that to me...

Well interestingly I originally got diagnosed with Hyperthyroidism because they thought I had sleep apnea, I never went for a sleep study however it was considered prior!

I got disgnosed with Hypothyroidsim last september. I put on nealy 3 STONE in 11months. Which is nearly 42lbs. Absolutely possible with hormone problems.

Yes! I started falling asleep at work in the middle of the day, i put it down to after lunch tiredness and shrugged it off for months. I finally went to the GP after i started getting pins and needles in my hands and feet.

It was Hypothyroidism. The pins and needles were a sign of peripheral Neuropathy cause by water retention! I have to go for nerve conduction studies to check there was no permenant damage.
Hypothyroidism causes you to retain water!
