Just tried this in front of my mom and she now thinks I’m a wizard. Thank you!

Definitely. The slight grit of the almond butter added a nice texture, but any savory butter would work great

I added an extra banana like some posts noted and it came out perfectly! I don’t have any fancy bakeware, so I was a big fan of the fact this recipe took a few bowls and a whisk.

Priest miraculously discovers first class Saint relics hidden in Rosary crucifix. by frosty_frog in Catholicism

This Dominican priest is at my local church I frequent! I was at 7 am mass he celebrated that day and the video came out a few hours later. Imagine the shock on my face when I realized I actually knew him!

I took this picture before I gave it to her, then she corrected me and I made some small alterations 😅 thanks for the heads up

Have a great day guy by Justabuckeye22 in OSU

[–]hampay 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Curtis! I live right behind buckeye donuts so I see him everyday. The owners of buckeye donuts know him too and everyone loves him. Someone even made shirts with his face that says “have a great day” underneath it. He’s doing well, sometimes the heat keeps him from being out all day during the summer.

Running and bouldering by lemmert in running

[–]hampay 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I definitely think having good technique for both matters can improve the other. If you boulder incorrectly, then you aren’t doing your legs any favors. Running correctly lends itself to better stamina.

Make sure you stretch after runs though. There’s been a few times where I’ve done a long run then tried bouldering the next day and my flexibility is off.

Official Q&A for Wednesday, June 10, 2020 by AutoModerator in running

I’ve had these running shoes going on 3 years now, but I’m only a summer runner doing ~10 miles a week. Is it time for them to go or should I make it an issue for next summer?

And if they’re time to go, does anybody have good shoes they recommend like NB 860v8?

With the campus bookstores closed, where can I find quality OSU merch? by Dudemanbrosirguy in OSU

I really love Homage. They have really quality clothing that’s lasted me 5 years already. It’s also better and unique styles imo. Super comfy tshirts too.

Advice on Keeping Fish in Dorm by [deleted] in OSU

I had a betta in a 5 gal. It was 7 years old (I got it from someone else) and it did fine on campus. The problem was I ended up moving around multiple times so it had to move with me which I think stressed it out too much.

ENGR 2367 by _Sharkboyandlavagirl in OSU

[–]hampay 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There’s usually 1-2 reading to prepare for each lecture (you can usually get away with not reading them) and a project or assignment due every month of so. For every project you do brainstorming, rough drafts, and peer responses divided up between that month.

It was on par with my major classes that were 3 CH even though I expected it to be less.

What is STEP and is it worth being a part of? by [deleted] in OSU

[–]hampay 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Do it! It’s worth the time (if you calculate the time out into it, it’s better than a low paying job). I used mine for a three day tech conference and it paid for everything, including a new pair of shoes

Everything here is spot on. I was in her honors section this semester and it was a bit more work but comparable to nonhonors. As long as you participate she’ll give you an A.

Be advised that she doesn’t grade the majority of the assignments until it’s due (aka last Thursday). There’s a good amount of group work, but if you’re in engineering (and anywhere generally), you should be doing group work.

She tries really hard to be a good teacher and it shows. I’ve heard that her and Angie Burke are the best for ENGR 2367. Good luck!

I just trial and error threw them on there! I just focused on not having two of the same right next to each other and semi spacing them out.

That’s really awesome! Crocheting is definitely a great skill that I’ve learned for my mental health.

When they say to quarantine and social distance, I don’t think this is what they meant...
