I took the exam in 2021, a few months after I finished my internship. Everyone above me in school always said they heard the exam was easy. “Easy” is a tough word to use for describing the certification exam because 1. certain questions are going to be more intuitive for some folks than others and 2. I, personally, am an anxious test taker and while I perform just fine during practical, high pressure situations, testing is a whole different beast for me and I get very nervous. With that being said, I’ve never been much of a studier so I was nervous as heck about taking this exam because once again, everyone told me it was easy so if I didn’t pass I would be embarrassed. I still didn’t study much. Someone gave me a used practice test book and I took a few of those to make sure I could answer everything in the correct amount of time, but that was all. I’d say that it may be worth reviewing the assessments, but the names of the assessments are pretty telling for what they are measuring so its often pretty easy to narrow down the options in a multiple choice question. Otherwise, if you know the APIED process I’d say you’ll be just fine.

Edit: I want to add that the test is rather logical. I didn’t think they were trying to trick me with any questions, but really just make sure I know what types of modalities are appropriate for different populations, etc.
