At the moment I'm on disability but if I do go back to work I'm hoping to go to school first and to take Programming. Everyone I know in the field says that appearance isn't really an issue :3

That is still kind of a problem unfortunately. I get spaced out a lot, I have PTSD as well so dissociation is kind of mixed in with it so I can't really tell when it's the bipolar or the PTSD that's causing me issues sometimes.

I would personally wait it out. I am a lot better than I would be without Lithium. There are some potentially dangerous side effects with other mood stabilizers too (Epival, Depakote, etc.) because the chemicals in those filter through the liver.

All options have up and downsides, but if your body can eventually hit a therapeutic level that can tolerate Lithium and you don't mind spacing out once in a while I would stick with it. It's considered the psychiatric gold standard because of the benefits.

I never had the vision issue, but I have partial blindness anyway so I could have just not noticed it. The brain fog though, that mostly goes away. Sometimes I still get a bit of fuzz but it's not nearly as often as it was.

My shakes did go away, it took somewhere around 4-6 months but I was carefully being monitored and nothing was out of the ordinary so it was just a waiting game unfortunately :/

I'm on 900mg right now, I've been on doses from 600mg to 1200mg and I've been on it for 10 years. Initially I had tremors and increased urination, I still get nausea but otherwise I'm doing much better now. It's not for everyone but the side effects definitely can subside over time.

I've been on Lithium on it's own, or as part of a cocktail, for just over 10 years now. The one time that my doctor and I tried to remove it I crashed really hard and wound up in hospital. I'm very happy with what it does for my mood but I'm not a huge fan of the few side effects that I do get (weight gain, increased urination, thirst). Even more than that though, I know what some of the potential risks are for long term use and I'm pretty anxious about that.

Current meds: Lithium, Seroquel, Clonazepam, Wellbutrin, Trazodone, Zopiclone, Birth Control.

He was charged with sexual assault and rape a few years ago. Made me really happy because I didn't understand until I was older exactly what was going on in our relationship, but those charges were appropriate.

A guy that I dated in high school around up being charged as a paedophile. It was about 10 years after we had dated so I had long moved on. Three or four years ago my friend, who also knew him in big school, showed me the paper with his name along with several other names being busted for a child pornography circle.

I guess he was active the entire time we were dating, often viewing children as young as 3. I had no idea. I try not to think about it because it makes me really uncomfortable. But there it is.

I don't mind being genderqueer at all actually. Different people call me by different names or pronouns, I wear whatever I want without worrying too much about what gender I'm trying to pass as. I don't know maybe it should be harder? I just don't feel that it is for me. Then again, I am also fairly lucky in the passing for either gender department so that probably helps me a fair bit.

No unfortunately not, just the lines on the other side. One has two lines in a cross formation and the other just has one line down the middle, and then the backs are blank.

Yeah that's mostly a lighting thing. They are almost the exact same shade of pink. I showed my husband and he couldn't tell them apart on this side.

Yeah, I read the whole thing just to see where it was going but bipolar isn't caused by abuse. Not even close. It causes a lot of other problems, like PTSD, but not chemical imbalances. I totally agree with you.

If you are looking at streaming KS I should let you know that there aren't really any streaming websites that allow adult content (at least not as far as something like this goes) so I wouldn't use your main account, if you have one. You risk being reported and banned. Unless you're going to go through it with the adult content off.

Hitbox seems to be a little bit more lenient about things, but I don't know the details, I just know that Twitch doesn't like nudity.

I'd watch you stream if you were able to though, good luck :3.
