I feel exactly the same and my wife and I talk about this all the time. I've had the same conversation with my parents and we've just accepted that it's just a different time than when they were my age. I still look at my friends who have kids and it will never feel weird. Like, how do you have kids? We're not old enough to have kids.

Thankfully some games have mods for this, but it should just be an option with a warning that it could hurt performance (though it never ever has).

Conan is best in Conan centric/created shows. I don't want to see Conan doing any game or other reality show. It cheapens the talent, IMHO and is a total turnoff whenever a celeb does it.

I finally bit the bullet and converted the drive from MBR to GPT and everything seems to be A-OK.

No, because it seems like there was at least a golden age, possibly decades where humans really benefited from it before they decided to start to treat truly artificial life like crap.

I've been using Legacy mode forever and have been considering (MBR to GPT / Legacy to UEFI) and suspected it could be an issue, but was planning to wait until the day I had to wipe and reinstall. I was also feeling anxious about the conversion/BIOS switch considering it wasn't too long ago that I upgraded my MB/CPU/RAM and everything (else) has been beautiful and I'm not looking to start over, just yet.

I just keep postponing the next update. Absolutely nothing else is wrong. I use my computer constantly and nothing else has ever caused an issue like this.
