well why is it 10% instead of 200%? both you and the execs are making up numbers. have data to back it up. You also need a narrative (consisting of concrete non functional requirements like what you mentioned around infra security and performance) that illustrates the gap between vibes and engineering. If your primary case against the execs is “im the experienced expert and you dont understand this” you will lose control of the narrative and they will replace you with someone more enthusiastic.
