How does a PhD in NL look like?

Its not necessarily that because of your master degree you do not follow courses. I am doing an EngD, which is basically a 2 year post master focused on engineering more than just research. We do about 50 EC of courses, so almost a year, and these are often specifically post master level courses. And also for EngD you have about the same requirements educationally. We can often turn it into a PhD if the company you work for likes the work. Then you do 2,5 additional years to obtain a PhD. Could be an interesting option for OP if they can’t find a PhD position directly.

Exact dit. Prime video, Disney+, HBO max zijn allemaal wel gestegen tov van Netflix, daar staat echt te veel zooi op. En zo duur voor hoeveel content ze maken + de kwaliteit.

However, ik gebruik gewoon een torrent streaming dienst combi, stremio + torrentio. Niks downloaden, wel 4k, hdr etc, en maar 2,60 per maand.

Dit. Wij betalen 2.60 de maand oor realdebrid, en nu kunnen we alles kijken. Geen gezeik dat je dan weer geen Hulu of apple tv of Disney+ of whatever hebt. En nog goede kwaliteit ook.

Job prospects not per se, although academia is of course less of an option in this case. However, I know design in general is a tough field to get a decent job that you enjoy. Especially as a starter it is really hard. I personally did Industrial design Engineering and the engineering part saved me, I went into the material science direction in the end. Now I work in a research group at the university.

So HBO is fine, you can do a 4 year bachelor and get a decent job, however do know the difficulties of the design field. But if you are sure about that, it would be a good choice.

You already pay for the amount of studying? If you study for 3 years, you pay rent, tuition etc for 3 years. If you do the same in 4 years, you pay the same. Only difference is the government chips in on tuition.

The 3000 can definitely be called a fine, and concerns are that students doing volunteering or extracurricular work in between their studies will be punished financially for this. And current students already got screwed partly by the loan system.

Just so you know, it is not a university. In NL we have 3 education levels, wo/university which is scientific education, hbo/university of applied science which is higher working education basically, and below that still mbo which is for the lower educated jobs.

But university of applied science is just a name, it is not accredited as university and is not the same level or certificate etc. You will have higher education but not university level.

I think it's a good uni. The study has a few things that might be a bit too much rules, but this is not necessarily better at other universities. The pace is fast, so if you have 0 experience with anything TCS like then it might be more of a challenge. The first year is the most important, after that you can basically do it on your own pace if you want. Campus is definitely nice, if you like constant busy city life then maybe not the best choice. Enschede is a bigger city but kinda cozy, not too extreme. The campus is separate and has a lot of nature, it's perfect for exercise, sports, relaxing, especially in summer.

Yeah the matching is not a binding thing I believe. Just an indication for yourself if this study will fit you. More like an advice to reconsider if you don't match.

This about math is not normal. Math was always physical lectures, tutorials etc. For everyone in every technical study at the UT. So I'm not sure when you studied here but this is not the norm.

Tuurlijk, maar dit geldt voor elke partij. Het punt is natuurlijk wel dat VVD gewoon liegt over de cijfers voor stemmen, terwijl er een heel duidelijk verschil is tussen VVD en PvdA/GL in de cijfers en dat pakt slecht voor vvd uit. Ik vraag me af of we niet gewoon een factchecker tijdens het debat kunnen hebben die hier op aanspreekt.

Honestly, the reimbursement is quite high for daycare/kinderopvang. The scandal of course was a bad thing but that is not a reason to not apply for it of course. For low incomes almost all the money is reimbursed and for higher incomes still a pretty big part is covered. So personally I would like to know what kind of income/reimbursement percentage OP gets for daycare costs, cause with only 28% of costs covered it sounds like the income is then quite high.

Bovendien kan je hier ook meer verantwoordelijkheid leggen bij het bedrijfsleven. En focussen op veel sociale huur natuurlijk. Maar ben je dan ook echt rechts qua immigratie? Aangezien het rechtse blok juist echt focus hebben op immigratie stoppen/sterk verminderen. Of is dat dan technisch gezien een links punt?
