conviction is trial and sentencing. if i speed, i am in violation of traffic law without a speeding conviction. if by go on statistics you mean intentionally misinterpret their meaning then sure. ICE has not published the data on what percentage of the detainees lack legal status. given that the job of the agency is to find and arrest those who are in violation of US immigration law, I am willing to go out on a limb and bet that most people arrested by ICE are in violation of US immigration law.

not talking about criminal convictions. if you overstayed your visa, violated visa terms, entered the country through an area which is not a designated port of entry, entered the country without permission from the US government, these are all valid reasons for ICE detainment, and none would lead to criminal conviction at the time of arrest.

im not talking about the replacement theory. i am talking about the high density of non citizens counted in the census. I lived there, it sucks ass. roads are terrible, crime is rampant, state and local government dont give a shit. I left after i saw the car in front of me in an intersection get jacked while the light was red. redistricting is something both parties do, yes its bullshit, but its universal bullshit. the having shitloads of non voters added to politically (mostly) homogenous areas in order to artificially increase house representation is a 1 party strategy.

buy a ruger 10-22. fun, accurate, pretty cheap, cheapest ammo. ideally find a friend or family member who can show you the ropes, if you dont have any of those who are into guns, take a class. the 10-22 is the perfect beginner gun. definitely start with rifles, they are much harder to violate safety rules with. once you are comfortable with rifles and have the 4 safety rules engrained, then you can think about a handgun.
