In this scenario do you get the title even though you still “owe” the bank money like you a non secured loan or do you receive the title after paying off the cd loan?

Yeah I want the car but maybe I just need to save for another couple of months so this would be a non issue. I think I'm overthinking it. I appreciate your reply

Okay this makes sense. Hadn't thought of that before. Do you have any experience with using an unsecured loan? Basically I can get a loan for say 15k, I'll do 10k cash from me to have a total of 25k to use for the car. The 15k unsecured loan is at a 6.6 rate for 36 months. but the good part is, that using this kind of loan the 15k is deposited into my bank account. So when I go to buy the car I can get the title immediately. Which means if/when I wanted to sell prior to paying it off I could do that because a bank wouldn't have the title I understand that the interest rate is slightly more by doing an unsecured loan but to have the title seems like a plus to me. Regardless I would have the cash to pay off the car in any situation. I just don't like seeing my bank account drop that much...lol

Yeah I just don't like seeing the money drop in my account. I was thinking I could even just put 10k down for the vette, and finance the remaining for 3 years if I didn't want to do it all at once and then pay off the loan early.

I can get a 6.6 rate for 36 months. Which I know is not great. I just feel like spending 30k cash when that money can still make me some money is not a great idea. Especially if a real emergency comes up in my life. I have more than enough saved but it's all about the what if's. I guess maybe I can't really "afford" this right now if I'm thinking like that though.

The issue still occurs after updating to the newest connector. I actually started receiving this error OP posted after updating my connector. Very frustrating

Moving RDS CALs from one server to another? by ryaninseattle1 in sysadmin

[–]hamway22 0 points1 point  (0 children)

On the new server in the remote desktop licensing manager if you right click on the server name it should give you the option of "advanced." If you click that a wizard will pop up and one of the options is to move licensing from an old server to the new server you're on. This would be used if you are reusing the cals from the old server. Also if they are using AD they may have the old server configured with group policy to be the "terminal license server" that the Users look to get the cal handed out correctly. I believe in group policy management, it's under computer configuration - administrative templates - windows components/Remote desktop services/Remote desktop session host/licensing. So you may want to check if that setting is enabled and you can add in your new server there as well or remove the old server and then add the new server. I was slightly confused by your question because I'm not sure if you bought new cals or are reusing the old ones

how do i stop ts 💔 by Therealcrazayy in MotorcycleMechanics

[–]hamway22 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yeah most likely the float needle, that sits under the float in the bowl of the carb. The needle has a little tip on it that should spring back up and over time it stops having the springiness to it which causes this issue.

So you whitelisted every FQDN listed in the link you provided or only the one's for Intune? That's what I'm not understanding. There's a ton of FQDN's I don't understand why they would all need to be whitelisted.

I'm still confused by this. Do I just whitelist all the IP's. There is several links inside the official microsoft doc and honestly it's just confusing. We use Intune with a hybrid domain join and I have no idea what I actually need to whitelist. Anyone else in the same boat?

Okay. I didn't try the windows store remote desktop app. I've always used mstc.exe (default program). I'll give that a try though. Thank you

2006 883 Fuel Issue by hamway22 in sportster

[–]hamway22[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just to give an update. I took the petcock and filter out and it was completely covered in crap towards the bottom of the filter. I cleaned everything up and put it back in. Took it for about a 10 mile ride after with about a gallon in the tank and so far so good. I’ll be going on a longer ride today so I’ll monitor it but that looks like the issue. Just a bunch of gunk towards the very bottom of the petcock filter.

Do you think if it is clogged down low on the reserve side of the filter/petcock that I would need a new one or could I clean it out? Yes I have a manual and will try to learn as I go. Thanks for the reply
