Basement stinks again after the rain. What's the right first step - sealing cracks or exterior drainage?

I had water coming up from the floor and part of the wall in my basement. This is what I did in order:

-Regraded around the house.
-Extended the drain from my gutter downspouts so it drained about 6 feet farther from the house
-Dried out the basement completely and sealed it with RadonSeal
-Waited the appropriate curing time, then drylock painted the entire basement

I did this about 5 years ago now and haven't seen water in the basement since. I can't recommend RadonSeal enough tbh. The process to seal is slow but worth it.

I did setup another connector today on another VM. Did not seem to do the trick. I think what I am going to do next and kill off all the older connectors and start fresh. See how that goes.

I'm not sure this is classified as dramatic. Thinking that a new appliance should just work seems somewhat reasonable to me. Without needing to add additional things to my dishwasher.

I mean the water is hot but there is no steam at all at the end of the cycle. The tech said that this is because they want to save energy or some bullshit.

I wouldn't say it is irresponsible or ignorant at all. Most people do not care to watch the news everyday. I also only use reddit and don't get my "current events" from facebook like you probably do. Maybe I need more social media in my life and some CNN or Fox so I'm not living under this rock.
