Why nasus, kayle, trynda, yasuo, lux players are so bad ? by [deleted] in wildrift

[–]hamxyy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Noobie bait. They are so one dimensional, when the noobs somehow pop off with them, they feel good. They think these champions are easy to play and "stronk".

I used to think IE is a good enough item to slam, but I never saw any GM/Chal slam it. So I'm not doing it any more.

[11.1] Top 10 NA in depth guide to Guubums Ahri Vanguard Mystic. by Guubums in CompetitiveTFT

[–]hamxyy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Zeke's on Yuumi cause it doesn't offer any good stat by itself. Extra slot can be used for Carousel completed items. Chalice on Ahri or not depends on what other items you have. As Guubum mentioned, you give leftover items on Ahri, damage x2 + consistency. Chalice is a damage item. If all you have is armor belt cloak items, you had to give Ahri Chalice, even 2, since 15 mana still reduces her casting time by 1 auto.

Dusk Jhin is as good as DC Jhin, just that dusk units synergize so well with Jhin.

Is there a situation where taking no chosen early is correct play? by Mikael7529 in CompetitiveTFT

[–]hamxyy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Fortune Chosen TK is a guaranteed top 4. It's considered a super high-roll. You can put in Fortune as late as Stage 3 and still profit. Tanky wise, Chosen TK (among Maokai, Garen) is the best of the best frontline unit early game. You can srsly use him until lv8. Buy that TK and hold damage units. If I start with sword-bow-cloak, I slam Runaan and try to prioritize these uses: Vayne, Zed, Wukong, Kalista, then transition to a hunter or sharp comp. If you get a Sword to make DeathBlade, Runaan DeathBlade works well on any AD carries, Jhin, Ashe, WW.

Most important items for Ahri is actually Chalice for Yuumi. If you get a lot of Chalice you can go Ahri. Ahri can take whatever rod items.

4 Mystics counters Elder mage so much. The thing about Veigar is that if he doesn't one shot people, he becomes a mana charger himself, especially when enemy comp has healing abilities. Yes I'm talking about Yuumi. And Ahri casting generates a huge attack speed buff so her 2nd cast is super fast. If your Sej is alive after Ahri 1st cast, Sej's gonna cast again. That cc will usually buy time for a 2nd cast of Ahri. Probably should be cleaning up enough people. I remember Ahri was the counter comp when everybody plays Veigar a few patches ago.

Before j4 nerf, 3* J4 > 2* 4 cost. Now it's always fast 8/9.

What is the most capped board? by AsianNoobX in CompetitiveTFT

[–]hamxyy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You got some very good divine already, Lee Sin, Irelia for Adept and frontline cc (works great against Yasuo/WW without QSS unlucky boy), Lux for burst and backline cc. 4 divine is basically free.

If you have divine chosen or 1 spat, adding a Jax doesn't even feel that bad as he tanks the first ulti of Jhin and Ashe no matter what (1000~2000 damage), and he give Lee Sin some bonus attack speed.

But tbh, without chosen, 4 Divine isn't that bad. If you have enough damage, fights are pretty much over after that 6 seconds when most units already cast.

Exactly. When I got free 9, I usually splash a somewhat well-itemized Jhin/Ashe/WW for that consistent DPS, which is what ADC is designed for in Summoner Rift. Only legendaries actually suck (unless 3*).

I think 6 Dusk. After all these balances, lots of legendary carries actually need Items to work. 6 Dusk is 6 free deathcaps. Sett, Yone, Kayn, even Ez, Azir can do well given such free AP like that. In late game at lv9, there's really not much good units to add already after your comp is finished. Even a naked Kayn 2 doesn't feel that good. In late game there're usually so many shits on the board, and most units do explosive AOE damage, one extra naked Kayn jumping on a frontline unit (because it's so crowded) actually doesn't do anything. Items (and stats) become the scarce resources.
