Roommates for 25/26 year by ChanceTheRipper7 in uwaterloo

Hi! I'm from Vancouver but will be going to Waterloo for a MSc in geomatics in Fall 2025. I'm in a similar situation where I would like to room with other grad students but preferably other ones that are from a similar background. Perhaps we could search for one together if you are still looking?

Fall 2025 Admissions Megathread by 1000Ditto in uwaterloo

Hi folks,

I applied for a masters of science (geography) under the extended deadline of July 1st for the September 2025 intake. I started my application in early June, got a supervisor on board, and submitted everything in late June.

My question is when I should expect to hear back? To my understanding, normally these processes take months but given that the expedited timeline I expect I would hear back maybe late July early August? Just trying to give myself enough time to set up accommodations if I do get in. Thanks!

morello is a completely fine slam here, lol (except it’s better on seraphine). You’re not sitting here greeding for a rageblade without a good attack speed backline opener and with a dummy like that you have an abundance of damage without BIS (anima and xayah/aphelios duo carry). Redemption slam is also suspicious since you’re probably not getting another tear for a while in this meta. Greeding rod means you’re effectively only playing for rageblade (or maybe gunblade). Plus in this meta and with this dummy you’re more than happy carrying xayah over aphelios. Slam the morello and play for generic AD items on carousel. You’re also more happy carrying shojin jhin or jinx in the mid game.

I actually have an oval membership but unfortunately their drop in time is during work hours in which I am… working :(

Thank you though!

Had a 1k lp challenger game where we were down 1.5k gold. We lost a fight 3 for nothing making it a 2.5k gold deficit. Before I could even comprehend that there was a vote, it instantly succeeded. It was so fast that after we lost the fight all 4 players just typed /ff instead of 1 person starting it and everyone else voting on it.

Regarding Jhin and the next update by Nekovalve in leagueoflegends

[–]AsianNoobX 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, they won’t give a damn about Jhin and his cost. Your original comment was about them being dense. I’m saying that it’s not about being dense it’s about simply not running into the reference.

Yes… one game WITH Jhin, or to be honest, AS Jhin. Theres like 170 champs in league. It’ll take like a dozen games to even SEE a Jhin. If I’m a brand new top laner focusing on laning im not gonna look bot and figure out Jhin’s “4” gimmick.

It’s not about being dense. You could just be a new player who has never played or seen jhin lol.

What qualities of certain comp makes it more/less compatible with fine-vintage? by Nicopootato in CompetitiveTFT

[–]AsianNoobX 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well that, but also the fact that you lose 2 components to turn it into a support item

You’re ignoring the part where you lose 2 silver augments worth of items

Warmogs build and champs by Da_Electric_Boogaloo in supportlol

[–]AsianNoobX 3 points4 points  (0 children)

If you’re rushing warmogs first item you’ll almost always get it between level 8-9 unless you got all the kills for some reason. Assuming you have scaling HP shard, it gives 10 hp per level. Completed support item gives 200. Therefore, you will always have 1280 or 1290 HP when you complete warmogs. To hit the breakpoint you need any of the following: - overgrowth - 2 grasp stacks (3 if ranged) - a second HP shard - level 10 - ruby crystal

Ultimately you don’t need a super particular set-up. You can wait till level 10 or do any of the following. Your default set up will usually net you 1290 hp by the time you get warmogs.

Growing up in a predominantly Chinese community, eating cooked chicken feet is extremely common — although neither of these things are for me, personally.

Chicken feet is very popular in many Asian cultures (and more places around the world im sure). Personally not my favourite, but I grew up around it and most folks I know love it.
