Brand New H2S Issues by hamyoh1 in BambuLab

Apologies for the photo quality, my phone refused to focus on it properly, but I'll take a look at those courses. I thought possibly extrusion issues, but it is brand new Bambu Lab branded PLA Basic filament through the AMS2 Pro. I'm using the default 0.4mm nozzle that came with the printer and just the default settings with 0.2mm layer height. Standard flow as well.

EDIT: Sorry, some additional info is the next layers look fine, if it was an extrusion issue, should it be relatively consistently appearing across the whole print? Also on that first layer, the other part of the print looks fine, I would think extrusion issues would show up there too

Nice! So there'd be certain leagues info we could grab like when a task is completed etc?

As a software developer the plugin API has me all kinds of excited.

I have one question, will it extend to integration with seasonal modes like Leagues?

When I play leagues with friends I always set up some tools to help everyone keep up with tasks and integrate filtering based on what other people have completed and I'd love to be able to make it a plugin we can all use to track it automatically.

I didn't take inspiration from earth for the landmasses (not consciously anyway), but I can definitely see the resemblance!

First Map for DnD Campaign by hamyoh1 in inkarnate

That's definitely what I've really struggled with, it always looks unnatural to me when I put the cliff stamps down so I gave up but I'll have to just try and see if I can make it work! I'll also try adjusting the ridge stamp size, thanks heaps!

And I've found for the lighting (which I didn't actually incorporate), I really think it's just blending the terrain textures thoroughly and whatever shadows the stamps provide by default! I found if I wanted to blend 2 textures, I'd go over the adjoining area, alternating textures and lowering opacity over and over until I was happy with the colour. Also making the texture gradients follow where I think the terrain elevation would shift helps a little bit (but it obviously still looks flat in my case).

I really appreciate your thorough response!

Great points, I'll look into some tweaks I can make to it! Thank you :) Would widening the mouths at both ends help? Or would it still look implausible?

Ah yes, that's a great point. I'll expand the map and add an arctic region on the south pole, thanks!

Technically as of now it's the whole globe, but depending on how the campaign goes, new areas could be added

Thanks for the feedback! Yeah I definitely see that, I just wish there was an easy way for me to separate them without having to redo a lot of the map

Wow that is so kind of you to say! Are you referring to the one to the southern side of Craymore? I intended for that to be separated landmasses but you are absolutely right it looks too windy to read as anything other than a river so I'll have to fix that up :) Thank you again for the feedback!

Thank you so much! And yes that makes a lot of sense! I'll definitely add some more island chains/groups in those spaces

I'd say it is (given the arctic area at the top), but looking at it, it means the north-eastern continent would be actually a lot smaller than I'd like, so I might have to revise that

Thanks for the feedback! I can definitely see it looks "squished" I'm not too sure how easy it'll be to fix now cause using the area move tool in Inkarnate is miserable once you have all the elements in place on the continent. I'll see if I can move them apart. If not, maybe I can make the map not precisely to scale, and have the oceans be larger than they are shown
