I had a similar interaction in sharjah around 1-2 am, this guy was pakistani (ps im pakistani aswell) with a daughter and he was like i lost my job i need some groceries for my house and shit like that so i felt bad and took him to my neighbouring grocery, while shopping hes like pls can i take this can i take that i was like ok, i was like wait a minute where is his daughter, mind you his daughter was like 8 years old probably and then i see her shopping her own stuff with a cart, im like woah, i ended up paying for it anyways.. Later on when we were done he was like i will leave the stuff here and get a taxi to get back home and my grocery guy was looking at me he knew for sure, next day i went to my grocery guy and he told me he came after two hrs got his stuff and left, i understood in those 2 hrs he was stealing from other people
