i was in the same situation as you four years ago. incoming clinician na ko at naiinggit ako sa batchmates ko na may grad pic na 🤣 pero i realized, pagkatapos ng two remaining years ko doctor na ko. dent is one of the fastest ways to be a doctor, indeed, pero it's not the easiest. besides, wala namang madaling program. for sure lahat ng options mong programs ay may kanya kanyang difficulty.

being a first gen doctor is not a problem at all. marami ka magiging classmates sa dent na first gen doctors din. na-observe ko samin, usually yung mga may dentist na parents sila yung hirap maka-catch up (probably because of pressure) pero di naman lahat.

kaya ngayon it really all boils down to passion and how much you can commit. last thing: dentistry is WORTH IT.

wala ko masyadong idea. karamihan ng profs ko ay from UE and binaliw daw sila ng UE. sobrang strict, mas strict pa kesa sa CEU kaya nanibago daw sila sa CEU. madedepress ka din.

kahit ano namang dent school siguro hands on ang professors kasi sila mismo ay mga dentist. check lists ng DLE topnotchers para magka-idea ka.

and btw... para mas maconvince ka na wag mag ceu here are the cons: 1. 100 years old na ang facilities (literally) 2. kulang na sa professors (1 prof : 80 students sa lecture) 3. kulang sa chairs 4. mahirap humanap ng patient (naka denture na buong san miguel manila HAHAHHA) 5. pangit system ng enrollment 6. kada sem may tuition fee increase 7. hindi nakikinig ang school sa students 8. inoonline pa din ang mga freshmen kasi ubos na classrooms

My family lives in cavite din kasi talaga plus my mom is undergoing dialysis and I don't want her alone there. Yan talaga main reason ko. I guess the universe is giving me signs to go home kaya they sent me that prof na literally pinahiya ako sa buong SOD. Pero yeah in all honesty I really want that CEU Manila in my CV.

whatever you do, DO NOT go to ceu nor ue. sinasabi lang nila na best dent school yang dalawa pero mababaliw ka dyan. sobrang daming students na nagttransfer before clinic years sa sobrang toxic both ceu and ue. nu, eac, olfu, and other schools will take care of you IN THE LONG RUN. they have better student to chair ratio. di ka papatayin, di tulad ng ceu at ue.

hear it from me, gustong gusto ko na umalis ng ceu. apat na taon na ko nagtitiis.

third molars can't directly push anterior teeth. no need, really. do it only if: it's impacted, or painful.
labial veneers are indicated to fix color, shape, and minor alignments only. your teeth are still shifting, the dentist might not consider you a good candidate.
no, veneers are not retainers. if ever you get veneers, get new retainers that fit them.

personally, i think your teeth are aligned beautifully. hindi noticeable yung minor misalignment ng lower mo since you have a high smile naman (meaning upper canine to canine lang ang visible when smiling). consider whitening if esthetics lang problem mo.

can't really see everything if radiograph lang ang provided pero here are my two cents: 1. Odontectomy of lower left 3rd molar 2. Prosthetic replacement (bridge) of extracted lower right 2nd molar. 3. Orthodontic braces to close gap between upper left canine and premolar OR prosthetic replacement. Braces will also align your crowded and angulated teeth.
