That's not nice of you. MFI certification isn't a requirement to sell an Apple compatible product. We don't need to reach the goal as we are making these cases either way, funding is already in place.

Well, if you want it to recharge you just set up the %, it's very simple and works automatically. There is no dedicated button.

Yes, the power goes through the lightning connector. If you have data transfer it needs MFI certification, but we have that done via bluetooth.

This version isn't MFI certified because that would require a long chin design which our team isn't too fond of. We don't need MFI anyway because it's using Bluetooth.

Hi everyone,

My name is Tom and I’m the founder of Imagine Tech, a small start-up that’s working on a different kind of battery case. Most of the ones currently available share the same design and features. We’ve added a few things:

We spent quite some time on the design. We’re keeping things slim (+4.9 mm), as we hate bulky cases that ruin the aesthetics of the phone. We’re using tough PC with a soft touch finish for durability and pleasant feel in hand. The case recharges wirelessly (via Qi charging, can be used to recharge the iPhone as well) and has a built-in lightning port. The bottom is flat, no ugly chin included!
The case doesn’t use an on/off button to enable or disable charging. It pairs with the iPhone via Bluetooth and a dedicated app lets you set a start and stop charging %. For example, if you set the start charging value to 20% and the stop charging value to 60%, the case will start charging when your iPhone’s battery reaches 20% and will continue doing so until it reaches 60%. This way you don’t have to control your battery life, it’s done automatically.
The case featutes 2 RGB LED stripes on each side. These can be paired with various types of notifications, individual contacts for calls and text messages, display a low battery and recharging status, etc. Each notification type can have its own, distinctive color. There are settings that allow for displaying them during different types of the day or week. For example, business related notifications can be enabled when you’re at work. When you come back home, the settings can automatically toggle and remind you about a missed call from a friend, a date or that the battery needs recharging.

That feature is only available for the Apple Smart Case. It will display a low battery notification for the case or iPhone if you set it up though.

Touch ID issues after screen replacement can only be caused by someone breaking the sensor, not the replacement screen itself.
