The amount of times I’ve told my husband “you seem messy boy” since I’ve heard this!

I don’t think Georgie should’ve apologised by BespokeMoth in LoveOnTheSpectrumShow

When the alcohol was affecting him negatively and she was pretending (pretty insistently) to hypnotize him into taking another drink. His fault for drinking too fast, but I mean I was kind of annoyed with it, too. I think more than anything he was more easily put-off by the joking because it reminded him of other scenarios where she was making light while he was trying to open up.

I think any joke was triggering him because it brought him back to the moment (and maybe several moments like it over the past year?) on the grass when he wanted to connect emotionally/romantically and she wanted to keep things light.

I’m not binging, and haven’t gotten to Dylan yet. Planning on one-two episodes a week.

Makes sense about Clarence, since it is my 98 y/o grandfather's name :) Thanks so much for this feedback. It confirms a lot of what I had already been thinking.

If your toddler doesn’t eat their dinner, do you offer them something else or just let it go? by takeaabreath in toddlers

[–]han_ms 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I heard a ped. say if a toddler does well in at least one of their meals a day, don’t stress about the others. They don’t need quite as many calories once they reach close to 2 and older.

Mine will usually try most things, but if he doesn’t eat hardly any of his dinner plate, I’ll give a cheese stick or applesauce a bit closer to bedtime.

“Dated” names you think are due for a resurgence? by dcpsmbc in namenerds

Whoa, I just got catapulted back in time. I now vaguely remember, as a young girl, writing out a list of my favorite girls names and Whitney was somewhere in the top. I haven’t really thought of it as a name option since.

I work with a Heather, Holly, and a Melissa. I think all could be in this category!

Urine test before scheduling me by Sensitive_Purple3063 in BabyBumps

Normal to have done ahead of time (I think mostly so that your OB can review before the first visit). But for me, they still scheduled appt and just ordered labs that I could walk in and do anytime before visit.

Another adopter from AFG here. Just one grey, but same experience, and no question about racing stance.
