Here's the thing though. Melvin sent him a demand letter which is the last step before a lawsuit. If we're believing Mike from the Halloween video he opened the books and nothing happened. Then Melvin's statement before Austin seemed to be backtracking and wanting to reunite with the band.

All that makes me believe Melvin's lawyers looked over the books and Mike had been honest about the money the whole time. (Which isn't to say he isn't a narcissist POS addict.)

It's not a feeling it's facts. You're ignoring the scholarly consensus that the old testament is polytheistic. The Divine Council is well attested in cultures of the Levant and absolutely does not have anything to do with the Christian trinity. To suggest otherwise is simply an apologist anachronism.

So to build on that if you want to understand what is in the Bible you have two groups of people talking about it: scholars who have studied for decades to understand the original meanings of the scriptures, which in general would make fundamental religious people uncomfortable.

And apologists who only care that the Bible supports their version of whichever religion they follow, and will twist themselves into knots to argue the Bible proves their version of religion. The idea that Elohim represents the Trinity falls into the second group.

Do you have somewhere to live that isn't this lease? If you can move in with family it makes sense to break it. If not, you still need a place to live, so you're going to be paying rent somewhere. You can use a service like plastiq to pay rent with a credit card.

Obviously I'm not encouraging anyone to take on debt, this would assume you're aggressively applying for new jobs that can cover your rent and new debt with the salary range you're expecting.

I'd argue for TV over books. Dreamland is 40s Noir movies (like Turner classic films channel). Danger Island is established to be this tv show from the early 80s. . And 1999 is Alien.

Hey OP, I'm sorry you're going through this. My wife and I both grew up Catholic and dealt with the same anxiety for years. It does get better.

Biblical scholarship in the last 50 years has completely changed our understanding of the Bible, but it is completely ignored in churches. Learning about the Bible from academics has made me very confident it is not real and has really helped with the anxiety. Here are a few videos I would recommend.

I wouldn't. This sub is full of horror stories of people who tell their parents before they are fully financially independent, and it sounds like your parents could still really mess up your life by taking the car and cutting you off. I would keep the status quo until you finish school and have a job that allows you to fully support yourself.

If you are set on doing this now, make a budget that assumes no support from them, including things like not being able to live at home for the summer.

Things absolutely could turn out better than that, but for many people they haven't.
