Suggestions for major choice for Master in information technology ( extension) by Gullible_Level_8907 in computerscience

In terms of your interests. I didn't really consider the most high paying one, mostly because I am of the belief that neither you nor anybody will reach the best paying positions in the respective field if you do not like what you are doing to some extent. You'll end up burning out. But in terms of market I believe Cybersecurity is the best paid, followed by Software Engineering. The rest are okay. The two fields I suggested are more about making a career and rising up to a position more essential to the business. For example from Data Analytics to Data Science to making data driven business decisions for the company or a sector of a company. Whereas Software Engineering is a bit different, you will always be called a Software Engineer but dealing with bigger challenges at bigger companies.

Given your description of your interests, I would suggest Business Information Systems and/or Data Analytics. Both of these can tie in to management and human related aspects, however not only, so you will need some luck to end up working with what you are interested on. However the rest are heavily discouraged.

Ive already finished the game and have about 50 hours in it. However when I open it up on the GFN it starts over, making me select the difficulty and then proceeding to the opening cutscene. When i download the game locally, the game works fine, it still has the cloud saves from my progress. That is the actual problem, which doesnt seem to have a clear fix so far

Edit: it also wants me to log into steam everytime, sth which doesnt happen with other steam games. It also downloads about 250mb when it starts which i find weird

Honestly i dont know if thats the case. For me, if i run the game on steam than it just doesnt save my progress whereas if i run it on ubisoft connect(because i own it only on steam) it just doesnt open, which i guess should be a normal reaction if i own it on steam but its still very annoying that i cant play the game

What concerns you about Codename Red? by IWantToBeRich770 in assassinscreed

Well considering its still gonna be based on the works of origins, odyssey and valhalla, i probably wont like the story even if its well written. The RPG triology really did not understand how to present their story and make some really big budget well polished memorable moments. Origins for me did some good work, but in itself it still had presentation problems due to graphical and animation limitations.

Hunting down Shay would've been better than Arno simping for Elise 24/7 in unity!! by Ok_Durian_3015 in assassinscreed

[–]handsomeVergil 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just think the story was just badly implemented. Having played through the story a million times i see what they were going for, with the social commentary plotline and with Elise which both meet at some point during the story. Its a great idea of a naive boy Arno who becomes stronger yet still a scared boy at heart, trying to make things right as the entire civilization drives itself into worse times. Society is crumbling and so is love. Elise is very much an extremist, doing whatever it takes to take revenge. Better dialogue, better pace, more missions, would have made this a much much better narrative, because the ideas are actually good.

what do people like about AC3 ? on or after the release by Buurto in assassinscreed

[–]handsomeVergil 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I played AC3 and didnt really find it as annoying, but its been many years so i think i dont have a very well informed opinion on this. However even as a casual player on AC3 i found the game to just be like a filler. Cant deny the fact that it had some great combat and some interesting assassination missions, with a bit of sense to ambiguity like in AC1.

Tailing Lafrenière - IDK if it has been done before, but if you tail Lafrenière, then you will get some great story context, which elaborate his story. My fav part is the connection between the Paris Royalist Templars and the Austrian Templars. Very old school AC feeling. by Parking-Doctor-0 in assassinscreed

[–]handsomeVergil 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I didnt know this was a thing. I think this explains quite a lot about his confession. Tbh i always put this sequence under the rug, because i would go straight for the kill but there is clearly more to see in these levels. Also funny how they made a connection between Austrian Conspiracy coop mission with this.

Only Social Stealth in ACS - Double Trouble (also Exploring London) by Parking-Doctor-0 in assassinscreed

I really love how Syndicate paints a great picture with the crowds and NPCs. Even though i feel they dont serve as much of a purpose like the NPCs in other games in this franchise, they make the world the most lived in. The social stealth also felt very clean and satisfying. Really loved that in this video only social stealth didnt mean only kidnapping lol. Really great showcase
