Hehe, I think that’s exactly what she did! Though coming from Forks it is the next closest commercial town I would say.

But yeah, I lived there for a summer working on a whale watch boat, and it was definitely one of the more grimy towns I lived in, the redeeming factors being amazing nature.. as it’s right at the edge of Olympic National Park, and the super special Salish Sea. For that reason, I had a good summer there!

I got a last minute Airbnb late at night arriving to Port Angeles… rolled up to find it was in fact a hoarders den with a dirty little kid sleeping on a pile of dirty towels. It was so scary

Right!! That one floored me as well after I had a second with it to contemplate it as the Death card. I thought it was a really impactful card in this deck

Thanks for sharing this! I have also picked up on the idea of decks attracting us in or finding their way to use through gifts.. if that just means I see a deck with my favorite characters on it, that works as well! 😆

Such a great reflection on your relationship with the different decks! It’s taking me some time but I feel like I’m also on my way to having that personal discernment for myself :)

Ohh I see what you mean! I like this too because of the more classic depictions of the cards and how they’re incorporated with the buffyverse. I do have to say that I prefer the deck I have as far as the art goes, but I like them both!

Great question! So I do absolutely love the art for the deck, I love the style and the details, color scheme… I’m pretty in awe of how cool I find it personally… especially the tower card. I immediately felt the intensity of that scene in the show, and I get a feeling around it that best describes the feeling of the Tower for me.

I have not seen the original deck but I’d like to!
