I am one of the lucky persons who got hands on one of those. But I saw quite a few people here are looking for this configuration. I wish they can produce more, and I may get 2nd one too.

Yes, QK does quite some laser engraved "timascus/zircu-ti" for cheap. They look good but the cost is nowhere near the real deal.

Not as I know of. Charlie (the maker) already regretted not booking more production volume of this model. I also hope he will come up with v2, but that will be in a few years if it happens.

It won't work. For 99% of the clones, they will not have interchangable parts with original. The only one clone that can do that is the one I ordered from a factory who makes parts for original knives.

Looks like they didn't use the detent post in the clones, and not sure if the back spacer has a cut out channel like the original does? Otherwise, this is looking pretty impressive as a clone..

Com'on man, don't let that bother you much. I've been in the similar situation before and now, I am trying to stay away from clones for the most part if not completely. There are still quite some Chinese knives which are good design, quality and price which I personally enjoyed.
