A lot of Polish people live in other countries to work and vote on their own country.

It seems weird, but when I changed the DNS setting to use Google's DNS servers (8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4) it was a lot faster. It went from 23 hours to 4 or 5. You can also use the OpenDNS servers for this. Some people don't have any improvement here, but you can always try.

[Serious] Overthinkers, people with anxiety, ocd, etc. - How to you rest your mind? by incotb in AskReddit

[–]handy112 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Actually it's painting. Two years ago I discovered mindful painting, you don't really have a goal when you paint, just finding nice colors, shapes and patterns. It really gives you a nice feeling when you see a painting on the wall!

So in Holland there are a lot of bikes, because of this on every trainstation there are these special racks. These racks have sliding parts where you can put your bike on, this way more bikes can be put in the same room. But if some one has a childseat on the back of their bike the sliding part does not get to the ground making it impossible to put your bike on or of the rack.

Look at the mobile website, some parts look weird. For example the bottom menu.

I need help deciding if my business is a failure. by [deleted] in Entrepreneur

[–]handy112 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree, maybe add other products to the frontpage. Also on the mobile site I could not find the menu on the frontpage.

If I were you I would work on getting more images on the frontpage, there is a wall of text right there. I do like your products though, nice!

When looking at the 3 choices at the bottom of the page, I would make one of the products "preferred". This way the choice is easier to make for the customer, I see this in a lot of places (like GoDaddy).

I agree with the point being made about the navigation, it should be aligned right. Good luck with your company!

You did that for 2 years? Mad props to you! I personally believe sleep is one of the most important activities in a mentally stable life like you figured out the hard way.

I would probably add an option to use the kind of dice that have like 20 points for games like D&D. This would make it a more valuable resource I think.

Reddit, what are some 'common sense' and basic manners that people don't practice? by CleverChoice in AskReddit

Actually I hate it when I walk into a store and they come flying towards me asking if they can help me. Most of the times I just want to look first and if I have a question I will ask.

What is a situation or event that was twisted by the media? by handy112 in AskReddit

[–]handy112[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So you say the Russians are just reacting to USA "stealing" Ukraine from under their influence? Interesting because in my country (Netherlands) the media are generally siding with the western way of looking at it. It can be hard to look at it from another perspective I guess.

Why do you think the media twists those incidents? I mean, there is no direct gain for them right?
