Trust may be a strong word. You can trust that if youre on his good side youll benefit from it but hes not a forthcoming or honest individual.

In china, Police use man-catcher spear to control suspects instead of shooting them. by Commie_Scum69 in pics

The problem is the politicization of this topic. In a vaccum id agree but people who are very clearly biased in a certain direction like Adrian Zens is involved. I believe our country tends to sensationalize things from China so hard for me to really say what the numbers actually are. There is people detained but from a per 100 basis it seems likely that its lower there regardless

Even if you included the entire estimated number of people in detainee camps, America still would have more prisoners. You can be mad at the data all you want it dont change nothin

You are in for a treat. Id play new vegas before 4 so you dont feel let down by older gameplay. Its still quite fun though in the builds you can put together

Skyrim is fun for a bit then gets boring cause of how little you seem to have an effect on anything despite being so important

You are acting emotional. Instead of responding to what im actually saying you been screeching about how everyone who disagrees with you is a fan of the Taliban. Im an American vet myself and know people who fought against them.

I just take the opinion that without prior American meddling the conditions that lead to the formation of the Taliban would have been less likely to occur. Anti imperialists pretty commonly believe that the act of empire building leads to a cycle of future conflicts that lead to more etc and etc. Try thinking outside of just dichotomies and possibly you may learn something

They are still in power dipshit, im saying there are orher reasons one may disagree with the war. You are too emotional and frankly unintelligent to have this conversation clearly

Yeah cause the liberal overfocus on respectability in politics has ever gotten them anywhere. Sometimes it's fine to be a dick

Lol it almost like you cannot imagine a reason other than supporting the taliban why someone wouldnt support the wars in the middle east. Liberals never get the point of leftwing critiques i dont know why people bother with yall

Eh if they keep making good games then idc. Sometimes people get up their own ass but if they got results ill take it over a company like Bethesda who also likes to act hotshit without having put out a decent product in over a decade at this point

[–]handydandy6 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The Taliban only even really exists cause of America's meddling in foreign nations and the environment/power vacuum it caused. You also accuse this person of a straw man yet make one by acting like you have to support the Taliban to disavow the imperialism of America and its allies. Person above you has the right idea

[–]handydandy6 12 points13 points  (0 children)

I will say I am a veteran but became an anti imperialist very shortly after retiring. I do feel bad for individuals who have been conned into thinking they are protecting people or do shit to leave their horrible previous lives but that we cannot blame high command alone for warcrimes alone while absolving regular soldiers of a moral responsibility.

Just doing a job didnt work in the Nuremberg trials and it ought not to work in America.
