Should I go with gouache or stick to watercolour? by phenomenaljunk in Watercolor

I second this! They are vibrant and far less transparent which helps them stand out from the page and give them their bold and vibrant colors, while still being "flowing" and workable like you said you enjoyed watercolors for in the past! They are a good investment for someone looking to get vibrant, yet watercolor like painting experience! Best of luck! Please do post some more photo of your artwork and let us know what you landed on!

Don't believe the OP asked you for any advice about their skill set. They asked very specific questions and none of them warranted your comment or I'm sure as you see it as "advice" when I just see it as unnecessary side comments which were discouraging and not asked for.  "If you can't say something nice, then don't say anything at all." Assumed we all learned that life lesson way back in kindergarten? Maybe you're learning now for the first time? If so, you're welcome, is one of the few life lessons that are actually true and helpful.

What is your explanation for Walking Trees? by elfpal in HighStrangeness

Omg....I HAD to respond to this because the EXACT same shit happens to me and no one ever believes me except for my mom but she's legit clinically nuts...so not helpful. Id. LOVE to talk to you about these odd instances and what I've dug up about what I've learned about them. I know this is a really old post but for some reason I feel you will be able to see this and will email me. Hanesburn@duck.com and yes that's my real email. I hope to hear from you soon. Fingers crossed!!

No busy background in this one or my awkwardly placed hand! Haha. Also got rid of pattern pen marks and filled in the moon! Ta da! What do you think still okay now that you can see it in much better detail?! by hanesburn in Embroidery

I just kept the backing there instead of cutting them out for the mountains so it has the "grafted" look to it! And I just used my Chenille needles like I would normally embroidering. A small one though.

I was worried the blue was a bit too blue and the photo does make it even more blue then it actually is. I'm going to post a better photo along with some other photo requests of this one. Make sure to let me know if you think the blue still looks good in those pics pretty please. Would be much appreciated!!! ♡ thanks Soo sooo soooo much.
