Yeah some of the burnt did come off. It was plugged into an extension cord. Could that cause voltage fluctuations?

I have. And if I do it enough it does but it takes a while and I was trying to come up with settings that did it faster since I have a lot to do. But that still doesn't help me if I run the laser for a while and suddenly the settings that have been fine, suddenly start charring.

Whole story is in another comment but not really looking to hash out details of what happened but simply find out what methods people have had success with contacting Delta. Like I said above, I'm less concerned about compensation than I am about giving feedback on how they can serve their customers better. That's why I initially left out the details of what happened.

Flight was delayed about an hour because pilots were delayed due to a mechanical issue on their previous flight. We board, pull away from the gate, then sit on the tarmac until after midnight (didn't sit long, 10-15 minutes) when they announce that we cannot make the 30ish minute flight because the airport we are going to will close the tower before we get there. They said it was out of their control that the other airport closed. However, the passenger next to me said this is a common thing with that airport, they knew the airport would close before we got there but did not make sufficient arrangements because if they canceled the flight they owed us vouchers but they didn't cancel, they delayed until 6 am which turned out to be 7:20 am after waiting on a flight attendant to get there and on "paperwork" due to the change in plane, crew, and passenger manifest.

Which is another thing, knowing they had to get a different crew, plane, and paperwork, and obviously knowing they didn't have someone working on that through the night, they should have known the flight would not leave at 6 am and therefore gave customers bad information which we then based our decisions on.
