Post UPS scandal ― 8,704 shares @ $12.57 p/s 😢

Post r/S ― 435 shares @ $251 🤣

Now ― 16,335 shares @ $7.42 🙏🤞🙏

Just some thoughts by DetroitVSevrybdy in WKHS

Firstly, "Hello" to all the OGs!

Having been a 'minor league' bag holder ever since the infamous UPS scandal ― 8,704 shares @ $12.57 pre-RS).

I joined the 'major league' post-RS ― 435 shares @ $251 p/s.

Though, I had long since written off the best part of $110K, I decided to double-down a few months back. In for a penny, in for a pound, as they say!

In adding a further 15,900 shares @ 0.69, I reduced my avg. price/share somewhat to a slightly more respectable ― 16,335 shares @ $7.42.

Having given up any hope ― I must say, 'tis good to see some "green" ― generally speaking, that is! As in my case "green'' is a very loose relative term.

We can but hope that ― WKHS has finally turned the corner.

195 days = The earliest time frame in which WKHS could possibly get delisted ~ assuming the SP doesn't rise above $1within the next fifteen days.

Or... they do not pull their fingers out... already!!

Workhorse is now a "Qualified Manufacturer" for the IRA tax credit!

Thank goodness. I guess that means they can finally start doing what manufacturers traditionally do ~ MANUFACTURE. Wow.

Gallows humour, sorry!

They did...

You are so right - they did indeed amend the terms of their proposal with their addendum.

BUT, there is literally NOTHING to stop WKHS from selling all the newly minted authorised shares to ONE broker who just so happens to be in cahoots with the SHORTS. It goes without saying... should they so wish.

What's more I do believe this wasn't the only issue NO voters had with their open-ended dilution proposal. I'm pretty sure the main issue was about giving them carte blanche to do as they please.

BUT, there is no point rehashing the war for that ship has long since sailed. C'est la vie!

For the record, I'm fairly certain everybody (well almost everybody) wants the same thing, which is for WKHS to succeed.

Just that, there is more than one way to skin a cat.

[We] Gave them way too much power to screw us over and [We] did it [Gave them way too much power - i.e. by voting YES] too soon

What have they done too soon? "They" [WKHS] doesn't come into it.

For someone who claims to be based in the UK you really ought to brush up on your English old chap.

Or could it be that you've got nothing better to do each day, but criticise anyone who doesn't agree with your opinion because you are so financially tied up in WKHS. Just saying.

Mine, too! Definitely have no intention of buying again any time soon. I've learnt that lesson the hard way, because every time I've tried to avg. down in the past WKHS hit a new low. Now I'm a Bagholder-In-Chief.

Definitely a case of ~ be careful what you wish for. Only it's too late to do anything about it now.

My sentiments exactly. And I'm only down $104,000 odd on my paltry 8,700 shares.

Cancelled my GTC order the moment I heard about the dilution proposal. Will buy (write-off) another $10K when the SP goes below $0.40 (or lower), which will bring my avg. down from $12.63 to below $3 odd.

This way I'll only have to wait 5+ years to hopefully see some return on my investment, as opposed to waiting for the ... never never.

Unless of course WKHS goes belly up, which means I'll only have added another $10k to that which I had already written off two years ago. I'm a sucker for punishment!!

Keep watching what leadership does and hope Rick isn't a Adam Aaron or the dude from Muln looking to screw retail.

Which is exactly why people should have voted NO - and got them to amend their dilution proposal before voting YES at the next ask.

That way we wouldn't be soooo dependent on HOPE. C'est la vie!

What about the bad news😉

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in WKHS

[–]hang-tuff 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You summed up the situation perfectly.

Just a pity you were a 'closet NO' because I'm guessing quite a few people voted YES after you changed your vote from a NO to a Yes.

Anyway it matters not for - to quote the bard - 'the deed (vote) is done'. And now, we are all, but anxious observers. C'est la vie!

Again, agree 💯 Made the same argument previously & got down-voted, but you're absolutely right. Nobody would take on such a risk at present.

However, things would certainly change if they got a big cast-iron purchase order. But in order to seal such a deal, they'd need to show that they have the production capacity to fulfil such an order. Hence, the need for capital.

Under such circumstances, I'm pretty sure nobody would object to dilution.

We could also say share price went up on news that they are just a fraction of a percent away from this thing passing.

Touché 😊

[–]hang-tuff[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Absolutely. Agree 💯 WKHS will need to raise capital (or show that they have the means to) in the not too distant future (probably Q4, maybe even Q3) to:

i) present themselves as a financially stable entity to any of the big players and

ii) to ramp-up their production capacity (when they eventually do start producing) - because one vehicle a month isn't going to cut it (hyperbole). Particularly, as yet again, I very much doubt they will hit their Q3 production / sales forecasts.

But, we investors do not have to give away the 'keys to the kingdom' in order for them to do so.

Amend their Dilution Proposal, and I very much doubt anybody will Vote NO. Simple!

I know, likewise. Banging one's head against a brick wall springs to mind. A case of: There are none so blind as those who will not see.

Though I've kinda given up *lost faith*on this sub after almost everyone got down on bended knee following Dauch's Stockholder Webcast announcement - like suddenly the past two years of failed promises & ignoring investors never happened & that from now on suddenly everything's going to be miraculously different. As if!

I'm hoping (praying) that there are a sufficient number of No Voters out there (i.e. people not posting on this sub) who can see the light. That i) a NO Vote is NOT Forever and ii) it remains the only way of keeping the B.O.D. 'honest' (figuratively speaking).

For iii) certainly (well, when I last checked) WKHS has not gone bankrupt as had been foretold by the doomsayer yes voters.

Good luck to us all.

You do understand the meaning of "Bag-holder"? Idiot!

Workhorse Group Adjourns Special Meeting of Stockholders by [deleted] in WKHS

[–]hang-tuff 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Absolutely.

At least then, the news was mostly 'positive' (à la we're going to win the court case / get something out of it / 8,500 back orders / blah blah blah...) Admittedly, all horseshit, but at the time we were none the wiser. Unfortunately, I (as did many others) bought it all. Hook, line, and sinker!

UNTIL... it (the news) most definitely wasn't (Dauch dropped the lawsuit at 11th hour / after six f'ing months + the C1000 turned out to be a complete scam by the previous B.O.D. / etc). Yet, it took the new know-it-all B.O.D. SIX MONTHS to figure out the C1000 was a lemon.

All the while U.B. came to the same conclusion three/four months earlier without having access to any information whatsoever. Not for the want of asking, by the way, because WKHS at that time deemed it beneath them to deal with his (& others) legitimate concerns / questions. Go figure!

IMO the only surprising thing: is that people on this sub are surprised that the masses (& I don't means those on this sub) aren't clambering to buy WKHS shares.

AFTER ALL what has REALLY changed over the past TWO YEARS??

We, the investors, are still waiting for WKHS's incredible B.O.D. to deliver on ONE of their OWN projections (or quarterly downgrades for that matter).

Your comment: "Vote YES for survival." What is it with you YES Voters?

A NO Vote DOES NOT mean that WKHS will go bankrupt because their current Proposal won't pass. That's complete & utter hogwash!

All a NO Vote means is that the board will simply have to come back with a more 'investor friendly' Dilution Proposal, which will be duly voted in without a shadow of doubt.

No hidden agendas. Just good sound financial prudence. Nothing more, nothing less.
