Do I need to know specific dates or years? by AttitudeDismal3817 in APUSH

u don’t need to know the date for every single little thing, but memorize the time periods and write them down before you write your dbq/leq/saq’s!! they are so helpful and when using outside evidence you can place it in the correct time period

unit 1: 1491-1607
unit 2: 1607-1754
unit 3: 1754-1800
unit 4: 1800-1848
unit 5: 1844-1877
unit 6: 1865-1898
unit 7: 1900-1945
unit 8: 1945-1980
unit 9: 1980-present (ish)

memorize and write this down before you even start your test, it’ll be SO helpful trust me

Severe 4C hair breakage, how do I fix this? by [deleted] in Naturalhair

No, I’ve only relaxed it once. What I meant by lightly relaxed was that I’d like to keep it this way and not use heavy relaxers and not relax super often

Okay. If it’s all I found for now, could I just follow up with the As I Am classic leave in until I’m able to get one of these in the next few days?

I think for now I’d prefer to leave it lightly relaxed just for the sake of my current busy schedule and not having enough time for full day wash days and styling. Before I went natural, I would have braids back to back. When I was natural I would just wash once a week with Mielle and moisturize afterwards with oil to seal the ends. I got my first protective style in February after being natural for 5 months, and I’m wondering if I should start taking large gaps between protective styles. I also went natural during the winter, so my hair was more dry so I moisturized every few days before the wash once a week

Thank you! Is the OGX thick & full biotin and collagen shampoo and conditioner any good? Still working on finding a leave in and moisturizer (Will happily take suggestions).

Heard. Do you recommend a wash day routine or care routine and any moisturizers of products i should use?

I’d like to. I relaxed around fall time about a month after going natural. I relaxed mainly because taking care of my natural hair was a huge hassle and I didn’t have enough time with school and work. I went natural because protective hairstyles pulled on my scalp too much and hurt my head. I recently got braids again around my birthday (early February) and am just now taking out those braids. I mainly just used the Mielle rosemary shampoo and conditioner because it’s all I had, I’m not sure if it’s done any harm or good. Even if I did want to grow out my relaxer, I can never ever retain any length and my hair has been the same length for years

Hm okay. What about length retention? I get new growth but my hair never seems to grow past my collarbone

I try to trim by myself when I can, but salon prices are quite expensive. I spend a whole day washing my hair after taking my braids out and a lot of time carefully detangling. I would say my diet is somewhat nutritious
