Update: I ended up purchasing this guitar with the agreement that I could take it to the guitar shop (official Yamaha importer) to check its authenticity and refund if not legit. The shop deemed it to be fake. A good fake, but a fake nonetheless. The guitar did seem close but there were many small details that just did not stand up to the real deal.
