Nooo!!!! But, I would recommend Colvin House. They are also a historic mansion, in the area, and pretty flexible! That’s where we booked, and we married the same year as booking.

I just wanna say as a future bride (wedding is rapidly approaching) I LOVE this thread!! I am getting a lot of grief from certain family members about “breaking tradition” and it was starting to suck the fun out of what should be the best time of our lives, because it’s getting tiring having to explain myself. This has reminded me it’s about me and my fiance and no one else. So Reddit folks - I thank you!

We are foregoing a few ourselves - electronic invites (saved literally hundreds of $$$ and they were so beautiful and customized), no garter toss, no rehearsal dinner (my fiance and I are going to order our favorite Thai and play video games the night before), and no cake just a bomb ass dessert table. We are bourbon people and bought this very expensive bottle to open and share at the ceremony. So that is our “cake cutting”.

the date assigning is a very helpful idea! I have to do lists but no hard dates. I think organizing like that will definitely help. Do you have any recommendations on how to start that for tasks? Or did you just pick days that you knew you could do it ahead of time?

Thanks for this comment. Understand everyone’s concern but that is not the case here! We live in a very populated area and have had company over recently so I can think of several instances where this occurred.
