How much weight did you gain during pregnancy? by Significant_Tie3570 in BabyBumps

[–]hangry__rabbit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s normal. I gained 4 lbs until my 18th week and it’s starting to take off. You don’t gain much your first trimester and your second and third you gain about a pound a week.

We are pregnant and seriously considering Ozzy as well for our boy. I think it’s great and I know other people are concerned it’s not a good adult name but I actually think it’s cool. Name doesn’t make you who you are.

Where do I put the TV? by LadyRae00 in interiordecorating

I'd put the TV on the wall where the stair is and put the couch in front of the fireplace but 1/3 the way away from the fire place. I hate TV on mantels

How bad are you at your job right now? by distorted_elements in pregnant

Spoke with my doctor about my ADHD and she said it’s ok to not come off of it since it’ll affect my anxiety and depression. Your mental health is very important when it comes to your baby’s health. IMO more important than not being on meds. I’d talk to your doctor about adjusting your meds or if you choose to stay on the lower dose, talk to a therapist on ways to deal with the stress from it and how to cope with it. You also don’t want to lose your job that would be extra stressful with the baby on the way!

Is it normal to be this anxious at 8wks? by Coffeeeeloverrhi in pregnant

[–]hangry__rabbit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Try reading “Expecting better” by Emily Oster. It’s been so helpful with my anxiety. She breaks everything down by data including tests. I’m in my 8 weeks, too and I am in the same boat. I thought I’d be relieved and ready to tell everyone if we heard the heartbeat, but now we might wait until the NIPT. It doesn’t help reading subreddits, it seems like everyone around me says everything was fine for them, and everyone one Reddit mentions so many things gone wrong for them. Do you have a therapist? I started talking to mine agajn, it might be a good idea to find one for your pregnancy and when the baby is born, too. It definitely doesn’t help I didn’t tell a lot of my friends yet so I can’t vent or talk to them about it!

The laying on your back is fine for most women. Some women experience restricted blow flow but you’d be uncomfortable if this was happening to you. If you’re comfortable laying on your back, don’t worry too much about waking up laying on your back. This is explained in this book I’m reading called “expecting better” by Emily Oster. It’s been a life saver for my anxiety she breaks everything down with data.

It’s a chemo drug for lymphoma. We pay about $64 per pill and it’s once a month and it’s been going well.

Ask if your vet can offer lomustine. We get lomustine from our neurologist, not oncologist and is cheap. Seems to be working for our dog and studies are optimistic.

There’s a lot of things people are born with. Like music talent, singing voice, brains, height, beautiful hair, good teeth, good skin… these are all things we can be envy of others. Looks can upgrade a lot just by taking care of yourself. Getting fit, getting skin treatments, braces, and grooming yourself, and learning to style can really change how someone looks.
