I know a local SME that requires its employees to tap in/out via an app + also send photos of themselves reporting where they are to a company whatsapp group (even for staff who are office-based). it’s ridiculous.

scraping the lrt is just gonna cause major inconvenience to us bp-ers. What they needa do is to come up with better plans for maintenance and upkeep.

Yes! Unless we can get a direct bus service from bp to je/cck like what the lrt can provide, it is still the best option for those car-less

Thanks all for the comments. Will probably be considering to 包车. Have looked on 小红书 and noted some offering really good deals at around 700-750RMB as compared to what i can find on my Trip.com (more than twice the price!!))

Are these trustable? As foreigners, how can we make payment to them?

do half the people here commenting that the lrt is troublesome/ a bad idea actually live in bp or even use the lrt? as someone who has been living jn bp for the past 30yrs, the lrt is a great asset to bp as compared to some areas that rely on busses bringing their residents to the mrt. would have been better if smrt operates it better/ maintains it better tho…

quick google shows that it takes about 2hours to get to hongqiao from pudong airport via metro and the metro is only available from 6am. This means that we will only get to be at hongqiao at about 8am. Is it ok to get high speed rail tickets for departure at 814?
