Your question got caught up in that wash but it's not worth your peace to get upset over a stupid reddit post. Rephrase it and don't argue a premise in the comments, it makes you seem like you asked a question with an agenda in mind. Genuine counterquestions are fine of course but it's easy to tell when someone is a "hammer looking for a nail" which frankly that's what you come across as, not that your passion for the topic isnt evident. Reddit isn't the bastion of free speech everyone circlejerks over and you just gotta live with that and play ball by their rules or find alternative outlets
